Lady Bug Lodge

This was my family’s fifth time staying at lady bug lodge . We have tried many of their cabins and all are excellent and all give a true northwoods feeling . The only sad part is leaving on the final day of our vacation . As always it was a great experience, great owners , nice cabins and pontoons . Michael and Stacy both go the extra distance to make sure your stay is great and memorable. Very worthwhile! We will be back .

We have rented a pontoon boat from Lady Bug for several years even though we don't stay at the lodge but with a friend. They provide great, honest service, and the boats are well cared for. We had one mishap with a rental, but LBL went above and beyond to make it right. We will continue renting from them for sure!

Worst most disgusting place we have ever stayed. tiny room with on worn out couch. no shelves to place food we brought with. window did not close without gap to outside, and window/wall modification had opening to outside. porch railings broken, screen door entrance falling apart. Pontoon hotwired ignition and all the cup holder locations gone with just a hole in the armrest. Just disgusting. Paid for 4day/3 nights and we left after the first full day. Just Horrible in every way

Very wonderful place to get out of town and visit. Feels like your in the middle of no where but there is a town 10 mins away to grab anything you need or forgot. Very clean and friendly place to visit. No bugs or animals in the cabins so that’s always a plusRooms: 4/5

Close to town, beautiful lake. Our cabin was fine. Owners were trying to sell according to a local, didn't feel the same as a resort where the owners are more invested.Rooms: 3/5

Their newly renovated cabins made our anual trip to Ely amazing! The service was OUTSTANDING. We had a couple concerns arise, and the staff quickly and professionally helped us. The boat that came with the cabin was clean, and perfect for a family lake outing. Thank you for a great trip! Rooms: Newly renovated! What a great little place to stay in the Ely, MN area! Mike, Matt, Haley and Taylor were exceptional in responding to any need we had. The cabins were super clean and cozy with comfortable beds. They also just put in new propane grills at each cabin so grilling at night on the spacious deck is possible. Throw in a big, comfortable pontoon boat with a 25 HP Honda 4-stroke and what's not to like? We sure enjoyed the quiet nights on the deck watching the lightning bugs. One small suggestion: perhaps please consider providing a wicker basket with a handful of throw pillows for the futon for a little extra back support. Hope you have a great 2021 and beyond! We stayed at Lady Bug for 5 nights, everything was fantastic. Our cabin #2 was clean and updated, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked perfectly! The grounds were nicely taken care, we even had flowers growing on our deck. Firewood was plentiful and well stocked. Our boat was the highlight of the trip, clean and ready to go. The owners obviously care about your stay and have done many things to make it a wonderful vacation! Thanks for everything, we definitely will be back!

No warning about water well being empty. Had no usage of toilet, shower and drinking water at our cabin for a day and a half. Was not happy with customer service when I paid the $$$ to stay in a nicer cabin rather than a motel in town for cheaper and with running water. Not happy with our stay. Cabin was homey but also needed plenty of work interior and exterior. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. The least they could have done was write letter on the door or email stating there were issues with the water, but no.
