Amazing place and what’s better were the hosts. Adam helped us out with our canoes and gave us tips for our canoeing trip on snowbank lake. Also, the lodge was very clean and the rooms were comfortable and home-like. 10/10 would highly recommend

Excellent place to rent your canoes and gear for a BWCA trip. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They will work with you to help make your trip enjoyable. The BWCA is a must visit, I recommend driving to Snowbank Lodge which sits on the boundary waters of Snowbank lake. If a canoe trip is not for you, they also have cabins, motel rooms and a motel suites. Along with boat rentals, you can fish Snowbank lake and catch great fish too. I would like to preface this review by saying the owners, Jenny and Adam are simply brilliant, so accommodating and responsive to our large group. Myself and three other families stayed this past week and had an absolute blast. We rented cabins 9 and 10, which were right on the water with a beautiful view of the lake. Plus super easy access to the water. The cabins are extremely well provisioned with all the towels, kitchen gadgets/ utensils sharpest knives I have ever encountered in a rental, soap, toilet paper, etc… Just everything we needed for an entire week. Both cabins had plenty of space for our large crew. We kayaked, canoed, or floated in tubes every day. We brought a volleyball net with us and were able to set it up in a nice flat field behind our cabins. We had 9 girls all under the age of fourteen with us and every single girl has expressed their desire to go back to Snowbank next year! We were able to easily portage the boundary waters from our location. Simply, we had a lovely holiday at Snowbank lodge and are really looking forward to returning.

Very welcoming with a nice bunkhouse. We stayed here for a recent BWCA trip for our entry and exit nights and it made for a nice time. Rooms had electricity and water, which is a real bonus, and there were available grills to use to make up some dinner for that first night. Adam and the crew were accommodating and nice and on our exit when my companions weren't able to make it back to the outfitter he went and got the canoe of theirs without issue. Appreciate the stay. I would absolutely go back.

Was a very nice and clean place to have a vacation. Management and Staff were awesome and accommodating. Pets welcomed our dogs had a great time. Fishing bass was super. And the other guess we're very friendly. 30 minutes to town Ely. The stars are amazing and the fireflies are bright blue. Peaceful at night and the sound of the Loons are so beautiful. Would do it again!

This place is so awesome. Super helpful and friendly staff. We only stayed a couple nights but everything was perfect. Prices were very reasonable. Will be coming back!Rooms: 4/5

Just got back from a weeklong trip up to this wonderful lodge. A week definitely wasn't enough time to thoroughly enjoy this amazing place. Gorgeous lake with tons of options for adventure. I've been to my share of lodges over the last 30 years and I can't give enough credit to Adam and Jeni for running such a great establishment. Great people and a great location. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to get back up there.

Stayed in one of the motel rooms the night before entering the BWCA and was very pleased. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Reasonable rates and friendly owners.

I did not stay here, but wanted to offer a good review for the friendly and helpful service. I called about ice out this year and got a very helpful answer even though I was not going to be staying here. I appreciate it greatly. It would be awesome if you posted ice out info on your website. If not I might call again in the future on colder years: -Sam

Amazing place to get away from the cities and reconnect with yourself. Owners are friendly and people are kind. Pet friendly place, my dogs absolutely love going there. Overall great aria. Highly recommend for everyone to go, who knows maybe you'll find something within you you never knew existed.
