Owned a place there for more then 20+ years, family & I decided to finally sell. It was the best/worst choice I made. It was a great place for family, kids & friends.. But over the years it changed, a lot! The dues are a lot for what you get, security is good but there are a laundry list of rules they push on you. My last summer there it was 9:30 on a Saturday. My friends and family were playing music not loud at all! playing games and relaxing. Security parks in my driveway and threatens to write me a ticket.. meanwhile the guy behind me is having a full blown concert. But I’m giving it 4 stars because it is a nice place if you have children and a nice place to get away and enjoy your time. Maybe I’ll be back in the upcoming years.
We have owned property here since 1983. My children spent every summer and we use our trailer from April through early November. There have been no major issues and we just love the peace & quiet. There are new trailers every year on our road. Maintenance is always available and a great on site RV repair service is available.
Great place to spend our summers. We bought 5 years ago and every summer we're more and more grateful to have found it. Been looking to buy a summer place in PA for years. Too expensive to get a house. This place is perfect. Dues are reasonable. So many amenities. Great for kids and adults. Pool, game room, mini golf, tennis court, basketball court, dog park. So many events over the summer. Also lots to do close by.
Worse place ever STAY AWAY IF YOURE TRYING TO BUY from this trash especially if you’re Hispanic. They Take advantage of people and give fees.
A very nice place. It's a gated community with 24 / 7 security and many amenities... heated swimming pool, beach, large lake for swimming, boating, and fishing catch and release, game room, large clubhouse with many scheduled activities and so much more. The staff is very helpful and friendly. When buying a place here you own the land. I highly recommend this place.
Pretty cool place...security gate called owner w few questions seemed pretty good only visited once so far..
My parents recently bought a trailer in the community and I love it. People are friendly and the community offers a lot of amenities. Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy it this summer as covid-19 restrictions eases up.
Nice place to unwind on the weekend. Security staff can be unpleasant to deal with at times if you drive too fast they will issue you a summon for speeding. Some Neighbors don't have any courtesy or consideration by playing their music too loud.
My family has had a trailer here for long time and we have been having fun for a long time as well. Lake adventure is a great place to be, great pool, good beach, fun mini golf, arcade for kids, tennis courts, and even a laundromat. There are lots of things in the area that are great too like Forklift Cafe, Bushkill Falls and George Child's Park.
Private community campground. Family orientated
