Really nice location and kind of unique for an RV park as there is a huge amount of wide open space and lots of grass and rolling hills. I am staying here at a tent site while on a bike trip and it's really nice to have a grassy spot with sun. Most RV places are tucked in the trees and don't drain well when it rains. My spot here is on a small hill which is perfect for a tent. Bathhouse and showers are in great shape. Definitely a well loved and well taken care of spot. Highly recommend it..
This campground had roomy sites with nice views over the lake. We didn't need any service. The camp store didn't have much but the campground was close to stores, highways and places to see. We toured Montpelier, Queeche Gorge and sights in Woodstock! Bath houses and showers were good. On site laundry too.
My wife and I stayed here in the beginning of June. This CG is awesome! Quiet, Clean, and beautiful views. If you have a dog, the dog park is the BEST we have ever seen. It's big and partially wooded. It was great to see Bubs running around with so much to explore! We would definitely stay here again.
Convenient location for swimming locally. $6 per person currently for a day use pass. 12 ft depth at dock for diving. Water bottles can be purchased at main office.Small sandy beach for kids. Wildlife such as a family of ducks on pleasant small lake. Mowed shoreline for lounging. Volleyball net and basketball hoop with grass courts - bring your own balls. 2 Horse shoe spaces with posts - bring your own horse shoes . Picnic tables, charcoal grills on both sides of lake and covered space for large gatherings on opposite side of swimming area. Sufficient free parking. Bathrooms and laundry next to pond for quick and convenient use. No lifeguards. After heavy rains the grass near basketball court was swampy but the volleyball court was nice and dry. It would be great if lifeguards were available for at least limited hours, especially for those with young children or when groups of teenagers are at dock. Small metal canoe boat on shore. Do you have equipment rentals at the main building?
The RV Park is very pretty. The Basketball, Volleyball, and horseshoes are grass which is not useful. The swimming only POND was cute, but definitely not a lake. Sadly the whole place was a marsh from all the heavy rain. The Electric/Water RV sites are kinda ridiculous placed all over on grass mounds, most not level at all. The Full hookups sites looked fine and the camping area in the back look was really nice shaded with a stream. The place was quiet during our stay. Our site was definitely unique we had to back in between a small water ditch and hill with a tree.
Wonderful campground/RV park. It's quiet and well kept up. Clean bathrooms. Lovely lake. We were there during a bad rainstorm after a lot of recent flooding in VT and the staff out was fixing damaged roads and digging trenches to ensure the roads were passable and people's sites didn't flood. Really appreciated that!
Great campground! We were arriving after the office closed - they had a map with directions to our campsite waiting for us. Bathroom was the cleanest I have seen in 20+ years of camping! We travelled from the Chicago area to Vermont to meet long lost family - having such a nice place to rest was wonderful!
I found this campground by word of mouth via my friends. Plenty of room between sites full hookups . This campground is well groomed, rolling hills great scenery, and plenty of room to walk your pets two doggie parks. I will returnLocation: 4/5
This campground, not a hotel, is on a very nice piece of land that has a lovely view. View. The campsites are nice. Restrooms are clean. There's a small lake or pond that apparently you can swim in. There's trees for shade.Rooms: 4/5
This is a beautiful campground! It is very well taken care of and clean. The tent sites are spacious with a nice picnic table and fire pit. The bathhouse was very clean and modern. We had a great time!Rooms: 5/5
