Lake Chinook Fire and Rescue
Lake Chinook Fire and Rescue provides wildland fire, structural fire suppression and fire prevention through pubic education. We assist in providing Emergency medical services from the Lower Deschutes Camp Ground to the top of Green Ridge, Our response area is over 105 square miles. Our district provides initial attack for wildfire on Deschutes National Forest, State Parks, BLM and Crooked River National Grassland between the Deschutes River to the top of GreenRidge at the western foot of the cascade range. The District is supported by a very dedicated group of volunteer firefighters, 4 part-time seasonal firefighter/EMT paid staff, and support team members.
