The Urich Volunteer Fire Department is located in the Northwest Section of Henry County Missouri. Our service is made up of all volunteer members. Our primary service area is rural. Our service area is a main thoroughfare for copious amounts of traffic that is headed to the Lake of the Ozarks. We provide fire protection and first response of medical calls in our district and also run mutual aid for other departments. We are dispatched through Henry County Joint Communications located in Clinton Missouri. We have training twice a month free for all members.We have a 6 bay station with a training/meeting room. Our fleet consists of 2 Engines,2 Brush trucks, 1 pumper tanker, and 1 Rescue truck. Our primary ambulance service is Golden Valley Memorial Hospital located in Cinton Mo. As any other volunteer department we are always looking for volunteers. There are many different roles to have in the department. We respond to over 100 calls a year.
