Lake Etta area in gary indiana would be a amazing amusement park like cedar point it would bring money to our city someone need to take a look at area great place for it this park need to be close it's boring nothing to do we as black people need to demand we want more the white people have everything in there city speak up and any problems we have download app 311 city works make complaints you don't have to do foot work make complaints on line let's get them to work for us

Really nice open design park. Quite a few picnic shelters, a fishing Lake and a beach Lake. A real hidden gem in Lake County Indiana.

Beautiful park. We came for an out door wedding & reception in on site event center.

This great park also borders the Little Calumet River but you need to follow the trail at the back of the park to get there. The whole park and banquet hall are very nicely maintained.

We love lake etta!! Until 2021 I hadn't been since I was a child. It's nice to see the park is still here open and well kept. We live not far from here and use it whenever we need a nice place close to home for a tiny nature get away to walk talk and just enjoy

My home away from home!! Quiet, safe, great for birdwatching, walking for exercise or just sitting and enjoying nature. What more can you ask for than all this and a place to fire up a grill when you get a little hungry! Love it..

I'm not sure if this place packs a crowd during the summer, but the temperature is 51in April so it's completely empty. I love this type of weather and this park is a great place to enjoy the day. With cabanas, grills, restrooms and walking trail you won't be disappointed.

Relaxing park even if you just want to sit in your car and relax under a shady tree for a few minutes. Lots of geese to enjoy or loathe. Has a little hall that can be rented out as well.

The grounds and inside of the building were beautiful and clean. The banquet hall was beautifully decorated. The staff was kind and helpful. The catered food was very good. I hope our congregation continues to use them for major events.
