Beautiful park with hiking trails and big lake for fishing camping available as well. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Playground: There is a big playground conveniently located close to the fishing pier. Restrooms: There are quite a few restrooms that have been clean every time we have used them. Picnic area: Several picnic areas throughout the park, in shade or sun. They also have a good sized room with ac/heat available for rent for parties and such with windows all around overlooking the water.
Lake Frierson State Park is an amazing place to visit. The lake was really nice and calm. There is a both ramp, a kid's playground, and barbecue grills with nice picnic spots. The park is relatively clean. Since my visit was in the wintertime, there were not any activities going on, and trees were all leafless and naked brown. I bet it's going green and beautiful in other seasons. I definitely enjoyed my visit. Hopefully, I get to visit there in the summer and enjoy kayaking. I am looking forward to the summer to revisit Lake Frierson State Park. Playground: Beautiful kids playground. Restrooms: Restroom was decent and environmentally friendly. Picnic area: Nice picnic area.

a very quiet place to enjoy with the family, in addition to many green and shady areas, it has access to boats and tables where you can eat and barbecue where you can grill meat, it has a small pier where you can stop to fish and enjoy the beautiful view. Great things come in small packages. While this park is small, it’s a beautiful park and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The whole place is peaceful and quite. There’s not a whole lot of camping spots but that’s a plus in my book, less people. Playground: The playground is nice and a good size. Picnic area: Lots of spots for day picnics.
A nice state park off of highway 141 between Jonesboro and Paragould. It has a visitor center where you can buy snack foods, fishing tackle and bait, camping equipment, and get more information about the park in general. The park offers a boat ramp, camp sites, pavilion rental, fishing and paddle boat rentals, picnic areas, shore fishing, a fishing pier, walking trails, a playground, and other activities throughout. The park employees have always been very friendly and offer assistance and answer any questions when asked. I wish there was more areas cleared out for those that do not have or do not wish to use a boat but overall it is a good park.
Very cool State Park The campground is small, as in not a lot of rv/tent sites. But, that is one of the things I really liked about it! The sites have plenty of space, you aren't right up on your neighbor. Beautiful throughout! The whole experience was really awesome !!!
Nice little park. Fishing Pier with a kids play area close by with picnic tables,Boating, Camping area,Picnic areas and a very nice Indoor Pavilion you can rent that overlooks Lake Freirson. Lake Freirson is known for fishing mostly. It's in a good location for shopping if you was to need anything..under 20 miles to Jonesboro or Paragould. The park is well taken care of.. it seems anytime we go to the park employees are out doing work in the park. Sure thankful it's close to us.
It was quiet and the water was so peaceful. There was a family enjoying a picnic nearby. Lovely day, though a little warm. The breeze off the water was perfect. We were visited by a beautiful heron enjoying the coolness of the water.
