Lake Marian Paradise RV and Mobile Home Park is a thirty acre lake front community on eight mile long Lake Marian, one hour south of downtown Orlando. We are part of the Kissimmee and Alligator Chain of Lakes and one of the must stays along the Kissimmee Basin Fishing Trail that includes eighteen bass lakes and reservoirs and over 50,000 acres of fantastic fresh water fishing - all within 45 minutes of our front door! But you won’t find any better fishing than in our own 6,000 acre Lake Marian, regarded as “THE BEST CRAPPIE LAKE IN FLORIDA" by the Florida Freshwater Commission and ranked "SECOND BEST" among all central Florida lakes by the Orlando Sentinel News. That includes well known fisheries like the Butler Chain, Lake Kissimmee, Jackson, Alligator Lake, Cypress Lake, and the famous Tohopekaliga lakes – regular stops on the Bassmaster Series Trail and home to the 2008 Bass Master Classic. Lake Marian is more than a great fishery, it's a hunter’s destination, too. Surrounded on all sides by vast cattle ranches and over 110,000 acres of state wildlife management areas, skilled hunters come from all over the southeast searching for wild turkey, white tail deer, hogs, alligator and birds. But our best kept secret is... all of these abundant natural resources serve to protect us from the noise and traffic of nearby Orlando. As the only privately-owned marina and RV park on the entire lake, we are always greeting new people searching for a great vacation spot in an Old Florida setting.

Beautiful Old Florida. Mature oaks hanging with Spanish moss, a huge lake thats full of fish and surrounded by nature's wildlife. Spoonbills, Herons, Cranes, Eagles, Alligators, and more. It's old but clean and everyone, including the staff. We've been visiting since the 90's and will continue to whenever we can.Rooms: 5/5
Spent two great nights at their Gone Fish Inn. Very modest rooms but have everything you need for a fishing trip: stove, microwave, big refrigerator, AC, TV, dishes & pans… Staff was all extremely friendly. Booked a guided bass fishing trip with Captain Morris Campbell who lives on property. I’ve followed him on the “Fishidy” app for years. Clients always catch monster bass. He is a true southern gentleman and fantastic fisherman and teacher. I caught 20 bass with a number between 6-8 pounds and finished the day with a 13 POUND 10 OUNCE beast!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to stay at the Inn again and fish with Captain Morris.
What a sweet little country resort in the middle of the state on a beautiful lake! This was my FIRST travel experience with my newly purchased RV and I was evacuating from hurricane Ian because I live in a flood zone. Melisha and her crew knew my circumstances and were EXTRA helpful at check in! They stayed with me to make sure I was okay getting set up even though it was just after dusk and raining!!! I called them once for some troubleshooting help and they came right over and solved my problem and taught me a few things. Someone road by the campsite and kindly checked if all was okay each day, even though they were busy trying to clean up all the debris hurricane Ian left behind. I was surprised at how many full timers and seasonal residents they have! Lots of knowledge and experience in that park! It’s not normally a location I would pick to go, but now that I’ve seen their little slice of paradise, I’ll definitely go back. In fact I kept extending my trip- it went from 3 days to a week- because I was so comfortable there! Great prices and a perfect little store on property. HIGHLY suggest!
Would highly recommend you LOOK ELSEWHERE! I'm not the kind to leave bad reviews but this one more than deserves it. We stayed at Lake Marion RV "Resort" as an overnight stop. When I made the reservation 2 weeks prior, for a shocking $70/night, I was told I would be given site #135 which was promised to be a roomy pull-thru site. I paid in advance and received an email confirmation. Upon arrival the office worker showed us really pointed in the general direction to our site and that's where the nightmare began. It was NOT site #135, it was NOT a site at all, it was a random lawn behind the main office with precarious hookups dried paint all over the water hookups and one set of electrical hookups didn't work. Once we inspected the spot I tried calling the office worker ... 4 TIMES ... to ask why we were not put in our promised spot ... she never answered. I highly doubt there will be any attempts to make it right via a refund either. So here we are in a patched together spot that's about as nice as a Walmart parking lot for the price of what you usually pay at a nice REAL RV Resort. Save yourself the frustration and find someplace better.
Stayed at the "gone fish inn" small 6 room motel on the RV park grounds. Was reasonable for the price, small kitchenette to cook, clean, comfortable, really hot water for the shower. Housekeeping helped, brought me soap and stuff. Groceries were pretty limited but reasonably priced.
MY experience has been wonderful. Be advised Melinda Hunt and her husband are disgruntled employees who no longer work here anymore. They have blasted on social media horrible lies about Melisha who is her sister. They need to stop telling LIES. This is a beautiful resort and everyone here has been kind and helpful to me. I love it here.
This great RV park resort/Campground has a new owner and management with lots of updates and improvements. There is a nice little general store and plenty of dock spaces. Great accommodations and friendly people. I would definitely recommend.
By all means come here!! I was hiking the Florida Trail and needed a place to stay for a couple of days. So happy I did. They are so helpful at the front desk, have a little grocery store, fair prices even for a hikers budget. They have cute kitchenettes with everything you could need. Very clean rooms plenty of towels. Also has a new washer and dryer, $2 for wash $2 dry. Check them out if you want a cute little get away.
Nice property, great views of Lake Marian. Rooms are comfortable and in good condition. Small store well stocked on property. Took lots of pictures at 3 lakes w.m.a.. The property has lots of birding activity, Eagles, Pink Rosetta spoon Bill's etc etc. We will definitely be back!
It is a wonderful place and the sunset is beautiful at the lake in the eveningsRooms: 5/5
