This practice is an absolute joke, do not provide them with your business. You have been warned. Where do I start....first off they withhold medical records from a patient which is against the law, I have filed a complaint with office of civil rights and the BBB. Secondly the review about establishing care is spot on, they did the same to me. Their office staff is extremely rude, even hung up on me several times if and when you can get someone on the phone. If you are under staffed stop taking in new patients or pay your staff to finish the job. I paid for a service that I did not receive, so if you like getting ripped off and no care from your primary care doctor feel free to go here. Oh and all the good reviews that mention Dr Shad, he is no longer there so don't bother. The clinic is not the same.
This place was great when Shad was a provider. Unfortunately he's been replaced and it's not for the best. The office staff is rude and unprofessional. I've had several bad experiences trying to coordinate care. It is impossible to get a copy of your medical records. The automated recording states 5 days however they state they need 30 days to print off an office note? I filed a complaint with the office of civil rights. This place is terrible!
Very unprofessional office. They are not careful with private health information. The full name of the patient before me, M. procedure they are here for EKG and cost of his procedure $100 were all revealed in waiting room. Their lobby consists of fundraising and selling "health" supplements and they won't speak to you until full payment is received. The last appointment I had, an elderly gentleman was confused about his appointment time and was 15 mins late. They told him he was an hour late, he owed a cancelation fee and couldn't be seen. They then made a very big deal of how they would do him a favor a fit him in. Another gentleman had made an appointment and there was an insurance mix up. He said he needed to cancel appointment and reschedule once insurance was straghtened out due to financial reasons, they insited on him paying cancelation fee even though they had his insurance before hand and knew the appointment wasn't covered before he arrived. Both visits I had wait times of over 30 mins and they say that they keep a $50 deposit on file or credit card so that they can take the cancellation fee automatically if you are runn8ng laye for your appointment. This office is about money, not medicine. Do not recommend.
I had a bad experience here. I’m not even sure who even met with me because she never introduced herself. She did not ask me any questions about my illness. She barely made eye contact with me and did not seem to care. The whole appointment took 10 minutes. If you’re looking for someone to actually care about your situation and help you out, this isn’t the place.
Dr. Gregory Scott is the best !! Literally the best! Extremely good bedside manners, very compassionate, and he listens to you.
I would not recommend this facility in fact zero stars for lack of empathy by the doctor and Officer Manager. As a new patient they make your first visit a visit to establish yourself with the practice. That's understandable However; I feel like I gave them a free $150. I was met with a doctor that did not introduce herself. I completed paperwork prior to my appointment, the doc seemed uninterested in getting to know me or making me feel comfortable. Horrible Bed side manner. Prior to meeting the doctor the M.A gave me an improper BP which was on the forearm. When I spoke with the doctor she recommended that I keep track of my BP for 3 weeks and while shrugging her shoulders saying I can just buy one its only $25 in the store. The Kicker to this story is that the practice did not have a big enough BP cuff to accurately check my BP either which is mind blowing, but I am told that I can just buy one. The cuff is probably meant for really thin people or children. I don't understand how that exists in a doctors office. I spent $150 to get an inaccurate BP. When I mentioned to the doc. they did the BP on my forearm she never followed up. I followed up myself and told the M.A to let the doctor know the cuff is small which is why BP was inaccurate based on what the doc just told me. When they both walked out of the room I was never acknowledged. She was in her cell phone from the time I was at the counter to pay up until I walked back in to follow up. Another Kicker, The doctor recommended diabetes medication without getting back any lab results to correctly diagnose me. I felt heavily discriminated against. I was literally in tears by the end of my appointment. Bottom Line I do not recommend this facility I was not treated like a new patient I have had better services at the local clinic. I Paid to get my weight and an inaccurate BP for a whopping $150. Doctor did call to apologize after I left a voicemail and disappointing review. No remorse from the office manager. It was almost like she was irritated with me as I was speaking to her about my experience. They wanted me to give them a second chance, but I refuse to support a practice who cant treat new patients or welcome them. I have been robbed of my joy of trying to find a new PCP and money!
Think twice before you choose this as your primary care provider! Very unprofessional & less experienced staff and yes you will never see a doctor, you will deal with Nurse only !
Awesome atmosphere. New patient and the forms were very detailed and they really take the time to get to know you and your body. Dr. Shad is awesome!! he is very personable and is dedicated to make the most informed diagnosis for his patient. I am currently awaiting a biopsy and am not happy with the current dermatologist he quickly referred me to another one one the biopsy is back. Total friendly atmosphere all the way around.
Dr.Shad is AMAZING! I’ve never walked out of a doctors office saying “damn, that was awesome” until today! He really does provide a safe space for communication. He truly listens and cares. You can tell he genuinely wants the best for his patients. Everyone needs a Dr.Shad in their lives! The staff is super friendly and personable. I actually will look forward to me physicals and appointments. So happy I found this team!
New patient. Which I feel now part of the Family! Lol the Nurse who greeted me was SO courteous, and such poise. I felt the warmth from the whole dang staff! Love this place. I met with MY new doctor Dr. Shad Brown. One Word, Excellence. Real down to earth, yet EXTREMELY informative. He ACTUALLY wants you to understand and KNOW what’s going on with YOU. It was such an Amazing experience. HIGHLYYYYYYY recommended. I’m so thankful to have found this place. Thank you guys for all you do each Day.
