This place is beautiful! We bought an annual pass and have come here nearly every day since, we do bring our dogs, on-leash of coarse, although this day we could not get out of the truck as you'll see in the photos, but this place is so awesome, we didn't care, we sat and watched 6 donkeys surround the truck, and then we left and walked the boys at the Marina, I think maybe some carrots may have helped. Enjoy the day all, we only get it once! Nearby activities: Great place to launch, lounge, swim, family BBQ, without the river crowds!
We were very disappointed with our room. The floor was sooo dirty our feet were black after being there for a couple hours, the roll away bed was full of bugs. There was 4 water bugs, 3 spiders and a mouse in our room of what we could catch. Our friends rooms were dirty as well, trash cans full when they arrived. I understand you were short staffed, but we paid good money to stay there and expected better. We also paid for early check in and we’re told the room was ready and clean, but it definitely wasn’t. The bathroom was very hot, the ac was extra loud and the shower head kept coming off. The marina was fabulous, but I can’t say we’ll be staying in the rooms again.
We had reservations for camping. Pulled in only to find out there was NO power anywhere. Why was there no signs giving people a heads-up. After unhooking and going thru everything, then trying to connect to power did we figure it out!!! The hotel was also closed! Again no signs, no one to help us. Did all the Employees just decideto start their holiday weekend themselves! Not cool!!!
First off, Lake Mohave is one of the best! And as a boater using a slip, there's not a more convenient marina. Online reservation, no hard check-in necessary. The docks have been completely redone and are in the best shape. So convenient to park your boat at the end of the day and hop right back in the next day.Service: 5/5
I was invited by friends to private beach, for the money they payed, you would think they could have better paddle boats. They were old and some didn't even have foot pedals just a bar to push with. Very hard to maneuver. Fun time at beach clean. But not sure I would go there again unless I knew they had better equipment.Service: 5/5
We have been to the Restaurant several times. Food has always been fantastic, especially Ed’s special wing sauce! Moe the bartender makes a great mai tai and is fun & friendly. We are in the customer service business and hands down Ed & Moe are two team members y’all want to hang on too!!! Food & drinks: Excellent!
This place has everything you need for an exceptional boating experience. Gift shop. Restrooms. Safe and quality boat slips. Snacks. Drinks and friendly staff
I've only pontoon to Katherine Landing a few times in summer. I always enjoy stopping at the store and sitting on the benches under the mists. Everyone is friendly and the place is very clean. Hope to go back in September.Service: 4/5
Love our beautiful lake! It was a beautiful day ‍ Please haul away what you bring in. It's a shame people leave trash & their ez ups that break behind. If you cannot pick up after yourself, then don't come here. We saw quite a bit of that the other day. Pure disrespect & lazinessLocation: 5/5
Hi everyone. I’ve stayed at Katherine’s Landing lodging for a few consecutive years because I had babies all over again and it was super convenient. However, I’ve gone to Katherine’s Landing since I was 4 months old. This time around, my family and I rented House 54, which is the 3 bedroom/2 bath house. At first sight it’s wonderful! However, as we got settled in, we came to realize it was SO dirty. Our feet, not to mention our toddlers feet were SOLID black. We spent Mon-Fri 24/7 walking around in socks. I even went to the Dollar Tree to purchase new socks. The walls are dirty, there’s stains everywhere. Bugs, well it’s the river afterall so that’s not a huge deal. We went to the office daily for new linens because they don’t come to your room to clean. I stayed there in 2020 and yes, while Covid was at its peak, we clearly understood rooms weren’t going to be cleaned, but little do they say now, in 2023, they DO NOT come and clean. While service of making a bed isn’t a huge deal, the cleanliness side of everything is big especially when traveling with kids. Today, I received my deposit back by which they took out damaged linens x2. Are you kidding me? The only thing the lodge did was take out our outside trash. And had I known I were to be charged for “damaged linens” I would’ve mopped with those linens to make the house livable for the 5 days we were there. Furthermore, while I mention bugs aren’t a big deal, they are when it comes to beds. My daughters bed which was one of the doubles, had bugs in it which but her all over the first night we stayed. In our king room, I killed 2 baby spiders heading to my infants head while I layed him on the bed and later found little bugs in his onesie. Mind you, he’s 4 months old so he was rarely put down and all my bags were zippered up. So, to say, while the lodge is great in location and extremely convenient, be prepared to clean up after the guests before you and to clean yourself. I wiped the essentials down with Lysol wipes that I brought, swept multiple times a day even though I dearly wanted a mop and would’ve honestly done their job myself. Also, be prepared to go to the office daily for linens and to pay for them when you made them dirty from the mess they were supposed to clean up. I’m extremely disappointed in their service. While they utilize the “We don’t clean because of Covid” they let everything fester for the guests ahead. I will not be staying there again. Especially with my teenaged kids, toddler, and infant. I would rather take the drive from Casino Dr. and spend 3x LESS to have a descent, livable, room while enjoying my annual lake vacation. I love the lake. I’ve been going since I was a baby and am now in my thirties. But moving forward I will spend less money for a multi-room suite in a casino if that means not having to have soiled feet 24/7 and to not clean up after the numerous others before me. Rooms: At first glance, it’s a great place. But after settling in, you realize that killing 2 baby spiders on your bed only means there’s more wherever they came from. Not so bad if you’re adults looking for a convenient place to stay near the lake, not so great when you have a toddler and infant. Floors are EXTREMELY dirty. I don’t think they mopped or wiped them down since they renovated which days a lot considering I washed all our socks we wore all week multiple changed daily and they’re still stained. Bring your own Lysol and have fun cleaning up after yourself and others because they won’t do it for you!
