Excellent little museum in an appropriate location... the old train station. Great collection of local lore covering everything from transportation to camping to the Olympics. This is a real gem. Don't miss it!

Worth a visit! Wide range of first hand exhibits and historical objects. Director of the museum is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Small, non-profit museum that showcases the history of Lake Placid and North Elba. Located at the old train station trains do not run anymore, it is a charming organization.
