Lake Toc-O-Leen is a privately-owned property that sits on approxiametly one hundred acres. In the center of the property is a seventy acre lake; surrounding the lake are six cabins that are available for renting, a catfish restaurant and a campground.
"Sixty-five years ago, Lake Toc-O-Leen's name was originated by O'Connor Davis, who called my grandpa and grandma Toc and Leen. Grandpa's name was Clark O. Batson and grandma's name was Walline Batson. My dad, Carlos Rabby, built the lake in 1957. The land had been bought years earlier for $7 an acre by my grandpa, Billy Batson. Lake Toc-O-Leen honors Clark, Leen, Billy Batson, Marge and Carlos whose love and foresight made possible our lake, cabins, campground and restaurant."
- Bill Rabby (my father)
Lake Toc-O-Leen is now owned by Carlos' wife and my grandmother Margie Roberts. Her five children, Jim Rabby, Kathy Kirker, John Rabby, Margaret Rabby and Bill Rabby, each have a cabin of their own to rent out. The restaurant is run by Joel Simpson, who is also the chef.
