Very bad experience with Worldwide Homes in Lumberton! If I can save anyone time and money or prevent a major headache, I would. Don’t do business here, you will end up with a lawyer and a lot of regrets on your purchase. We were sold a used trailer that was suppose to be remodeled when placed on our property. 7 months down the line, we have electricity when the trailer wants to produce it. The A/C is out. There is water damage from them putting up already used siding that had holes in it, which cause the wall to buckle. I asked for an inspector before my 60 days were up and never received one. Mold is growing everywhere. When I reached out, they told me all they could do is refer me to an electrician. We work to hard for our money, and long hours at that. Home is suppose to be your sense of comfort, mine however is a constant state of worry, is it gonna catch fire? Its 80° inside and hard to sleep at night. I am overwhelmed and only write this honest review to save others from the troubles. We are young adults starting our lives, don’t go here to get started! Worst mistake ever!
We purchased a beautiful home from Worldwide Mobile Homes 6 months ago and are thoroughly pleased with the quality of the home and exceptional customer service. Highly recommend!
friendly staff. maintenance can take a bit to get back to you but for the most part they know what they are doing & good at what they are doing. quiet neighborhood & in my opinion that is definitely a huge plus. only down fall as far as the trailer park goes is the neighbors all around & them not having their dogs on leashes, just letting them run free to do their business in anyones yard owner of the dog doesnt clean it up & some dogs have an issue with other dogs & not being nice. its a semi issue when walking around the park & children playing outside, etc. Otherwise its a quiet place to live.
I received a follow up message from a previous visit from Caitlin at World Wide Homes in Lumberton. This could not have come at a better time as we had decided to get serious about purchasing a home. We went in and spoke with Caitlin and we are so glad that we did. Caitlin presented us with several options and we finally decided the best decision would be to go with the Angelina. We were discussing property to move it on when Caitlin said I got you covered. She showed us a couple properties and we found the one for us. Caitlin’s kindness, patience and tireless work to make this the best experience she could for us sealed the deal. At times i didn’t make it easy lol. Thank you Caitlin for all that did and are still doing for my family. Also a big shout out to Justin as he helped out when I would randomly pop in and Caitlin was with another customer. My daughter bought her brand new mobile home from them in 2018...within a year the seal board going across the double wide just fell down...molding started coming undone...it's not squared up with the other section! It's a very poor quality home for the amount paid!
We purchased our new RV from worldwide, we were a bit skeptical but after visiting several other dealers we found out that you cannot beat their prices. I did appreciate the fact that they don't seem to employ high pressure sales tactics. Our sales rep was helpful and patient as we viewed trailers on multiple occasions and had many questions before making a final decision.
Great experience, Cara was my salesperson and helped me through every step of the progress. No matter what time, day, nights and weekends if I had a question or concern she answered it quickly and professionally. I absolutely love my new 4 bedroom home. My three kids are so excited to finally have their own rooms!
Caitlin Cole is amazing and was able to answer all of our questions. What she couldn't answer, she was enthusiastic about finding the answer and getting back to us.
I can't say enough about Worldwide. It wouldn't fit on the space they provide. Buyer beware. Do not give money down to hold price as it always increase! Ask lots of questions and please research what the seller is responsible for as far as repairs on the actual mobile home and appliances also Air conditioner and heating. They do not I repeat do not live up to their promises during the sales as well as at closing. I love our mobile home but it has come with challenges. Hopefully you have skills! GOOD LUCK!
I wish 0 stars was an option. DO NOT purchase a home from World Wide Homes in Lumberton!!! If you want your home completed with the quality that you paid for, this is not the place for you. After months of asking them to finish the trim out on our home, a contractor literally making the problems worse, the manufacturer having to come all the way from San Antonio to fix JUST WHAT WOULD FAIL STATE INSPECTION and some work that they should not have been responsible for, World Wide is now refusing to honor the contract and finish the work. We asked that they send another contractor to complete the job because the first crew left my house with 2 shades of paint on the wall, cracks not fixed, a roof that leaked in 3 places, the guy hung up on me when I asked him why my walls were still cracked and 2-tone, etc. This is a $200k+ home and we are going to have to literally sue them to get it fixed. Buying a new home should be a happy occasion, but it's been a nightmare for us. We have a child in the hospital in Houston, she has been there since January, and we are having to deal with this mess too. yes, they are aware of that situation, they just have zero sympathies for that. We wanted it finished before she comes home so that she is not breathing in dust and construction debris If customer service is important to you, do NOT even bother. After offering one last chance to work with us, the general manager of World Wide just told me not to contact him again. WE should not be having to pay an attorney to get them to clean up their mess!! I just do not want anyone else to have to deal with this.
