Lake Grenada hired me with a disability then after the major job was done they let me go using my disability against me" they created a dozen forged documents to renege on agreement ""I've kept all my originals ! and there's" shows where dates were changed names were changed and appears to be money fondles overcharging me going to Criminal Court over this soon!
If you're looking for a friendly, clean, outdoor-friendly community where neighbors are friends, Lake Glenada should be your next stop. The lots are clean and have hookups for water, electric, and sewage for mobile homes as well as RVs of all sizes and classes. The park has regular events in the community hall, the facilities are well-maintained, and the park has sone dock space available for your fishing or cruising vessel. Whether it's a seasonal home, a retirement home, or just a visit, you'll find Lake Glenada a welcoming stop.
We are staying here for what should have been a two week stay, but due to health reasons I've had to extend our stay twice. The park manager was so gracious and helpful both times I extended our stay. The residents of the park are very friendly, the pool is nice and it overlooks Lake Glenada, and the park is very dog friendly. It would have been nice to have a picnic table, but we made the best of it. I would recommend staying at this park.
Love this place, we come back for the winter year after year. There is a real sense of community here. The residents look out for one another. There are daily weekly and monthly activities including potlucks, firepit, Cornhole, shuffleboard, pool aerobics, and crafts. Rates are very reasonable.
We've been here about 10 weeks now. Other than the major hail storm we've enjoyed every minute. The place is well maintained and very clean. Storm caused lots of damage but the majority was cleaned up within a few days.
What a lovely campground ! Very clean! Sites are great! Definitely old school Florida charm ! Lots of shade trees, and next door to orange orchards, the smell is devine. On site laundry, pool and hot tub. Bathhouse is very clean ! Everyone is so friendly!
No heated pool.,,they never repair anything. Every time there is a water leak the whole park goes down. The heated pool is a joke. They patch and patch it but never ever stop and do the necessary upgrades and make s full repair. They had a culvert collapse last summer and instead of replacing it with the proper pipe they put in a round pipe again instead of a pipe that was egg shaped and wouldn't leave such a big bump in the road. The old pipe was moved to the side and is still there, upside down in all ot its rusting glory! Chunks of cement are scattered around either side to protect the new water line they put in, because they broke the main water line that someone had put through the middle of the rotting culvert. No job ever gets finished. There is a horrible stink from the main pumping station that could be lightened by sealing the top and installing 2 or 3 12 to 15 ft pipes topped with carbon filters and that would knock the stink down a ton. Like most parks there are lots of folks who would be more than happy to give their years of experience in a particular area of operations and volunteer to help, but get very discouraged when management won't even listen. What is the reason we stay, is the incredible people, the love that is shown and the wonderful CHRISTIAN ATTITUDES. THE VOLUNTEERS THAT WORK TIRELESSLY TO MAKE IT A HAPPY PLACE. LAKE GLENADA HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL TO BE A GREAT PARK AND TO BE A PLACE TO BE PROUD OF. BECAUSE OF THE INCREDIBLE SUPPORT WE GIVE AS VOLUNTEERS.
Visited my parents who are retired and now snowbirds. This is my second year visiting them. The park is a great fit for them. The community is extremely warm, welcoming and eager to help each other out. You can be as social as you want. The volunteers are incredible, offering a variety of activities crafts, entertainment, meals, special events, outdoor games and indoor games, dances . There is a lake with outdoor fire pits. It is paved and lots of trees. There is a pool, hot tub, rec hall, laundry, mail drop off, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, pickle ball court and a dock for boaters. The owners are doing upgrades and work hard to provide a healthy community. Lots of people have dogs. Easy access to many conveniences. About 2 hours from the ocean and Fort Meyers & Orlando airports. I love how it doesn’t look like an RV parking lot too.
