Lakeview Park

Rose garden is beautiful in late spring to early summer when roses are in full bloom. Fountain and roses are a nice backdrop for wedding, prom, and homecoming photos. Beach is ok, shallow swimming area with a lifeguard posted during peak season. Sand could be nicer but it is a lake beach. Summer beach volleyball tournaments are held here. Also a good spot to watch storms out over the lake. Picnic area: Nice covered pavilions, you can reserve them for events.

Lakeview Park in Lorain, Ohio, is a nice place with its breathtaking location along Lake Erie. The beach area is perfect for unwinding, and there are well-marked trails for leisurely strolls. Great beach! Beautiful place. There are some lovely memorials around the park. Beautiful flower gardens all over and a fantastic view of the sunset! Plenty of room for activities and enjoying a moment in time at the park.

The beach was clean and well-groomed with a good view of sunset. It has a good sized play structure for kids, a rose garden and fountain that is lit at night.

Beautiful, well kept beach. Lifeguards on duty and the swim area is roped in. Perfect beach to spend a day with family.

This is one of my favorite places in Lorain County. The beach is always clean and quiet. I love taking my kids to swim and the beach playground is an amazing bonus. I'm thrilled to hear that there is funding to upgrade it as it's a bit worn down to be expected as it's on a beach. I love the rose garden. There is equipment to rent. It's just a great area representing what our little community has potential to be.

OMG this cemetery is wonderful and filled with lots of history. Quiet and so beautiful. Really interesting. Will be back

Beautiful venue! Attentive staff. Interacted with three employees at different times and all were so accommodating. Could not recommend this place enough.

This was my first time at Lakeview Park, and it was fantastic. There is a playground area down on the beach, you can swim here, there's restrooms and concessions, a large water fountain, a rose garden, plenty of benches to sit down on, and at least 2 pavilions. I believe there's something for everyone at this park. Oh, lots of parking g as well.
