LAKEWOOD GUARDIAN PHARMACY

My one and only gripe about Lakewood Guardian is that since COVID began, the operating hours have been significantly reduced which is a real hassle. That said, the store is pretty well-stocked and the staff both in the pharmacy and store are extremely helpful, friendly and quick to answer any questions. The folks in the pharmacy have been especially kind and helpful when running into issues with prescriptions or needing an emergency refill, and they always fill my prescription orders even if it's several items in like 20 minutes. The kind, quick and patient staff keeps me coming back year over year, and finally out an end to hopping from pharmacy to pharmacy to accommodate a new workplace or living arrangement. I don't care if I have to drive further and I'll deal with the weird hours of operation for the stellar service.

Things are more expensive here then retail stores by like 20% for things i have bought compared to say Shoppers and Sobys but it saved me a full trip into town so i don't mind most times. The real problem i have with this store is the customer service which almost every time i go in the cashiers are quite passive aggressive with their comments and at times have a stuck up personality. I tried being friendly but now days i walk in and just ignore them because if i say something it's going to start a well deserved attitude check discussion. If you don't need something urgently or need to go into town anyway i'd honestly recommend just not going here the prices and customer service is not worth the trouble.

His had to be one of the worst experiences I've had when dealing with picking up prescriptions. I was told that BlueCross would not allow my prescription to go though so I call them while waiting for it come to find out it's on there end they won't allow it . So I understand the reason why it happened after it finally being explained to me but honesty goes along way.

Didn't have item I was looking for,,,but staff was helpful

A little pricey for what they offer but very friendly and everything is very easy and fast to find.

Fantastic local drug store. Has everything you need.
