Lakewood Inn Restaurant

Absolutely loved this place, location, service, food, everything was great. If I had to come up with some kinda complaint the only thing I can possibly come up with would be that they need more lighting in the womens restroom, that's literally all I can come up with lol. We drove an hour to try it this place out and it was well worth it and can't wait to go back Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and family oriented atmosphere Parking: Plenty Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Service was good and food was not as good as it usually is. Proportions where extremely small and highly over priced this visit and the alligator bits where so tough you couldn't chew them, boiled shrimp was not cooked in any seasoning but was covered in Cayenne pepper to the point it wasn't even edible, blooming onion had no flavor to batter and was wat undercooked and the sauce was sweet and just didn't go with it. Was very disappointed especially since prior visits food has been great and reasonably priced, this time it was triple what we normally pay

Food was good the first time we went. Second time, which was today July 9th 2023, we received such poor service that we decided to leave before we got our food. We waited almost 2 hours for 2 sandwiches. When we got up to leave and complained, the wanted to try and bring our food out. Only paid for our appetizer and drinks and left. I wouldn’t recommend.

What a nice surprise. Out on a motorcycle tour and stopped for lunch. It was hot! The food was great and the service even better! You must stop and give it a try.Food: 5/5

Don't waste your time with this restaurant. The food is all frozen and then not edible after attempts of cooking. It is not a seafood restaurant as advertised - nothing is fresh or original. I had the stuffed crab that was served frozen in the middle. Onion rings were barely crispy and the onions were raw. The salad bar is minimal and lacking. The 'twice baked potatoes' were mashed potatoes combined with cubed potatoes, sour cream and cheese that was served in boats made of foil; again they were not heated through and the cheese on top was not melted or browned. Domino's delivered steaming hot food at half the price that also arrived in a timely manner. The only thing acceptable was the waitress, Amelia. She kept the drinks filled, checked in on the table, and overall was a great waitress.

Went there with the wife and a couple of friends of ours. Great food!!! All I can say is bring your appetite! If you leave this place hungry then chances are you didn't eat anything! I had the stuffed potato! Wife had the shrimp! Highly recommend and I'm looking forward to come back again next year when we are there.

Took a while to get our food. The gator bites were ok but the special sauce not so much. According to the menu the gator bites come with cocktail sauce which isn't what I'm accustomed to so I requested the special sauce that comes with the blooming onion and wasn't impressed.Food: 3/5
