We were just there a couple days ago and the service was great. There were only about 10 of us in the restaurant so maybe that was it. But the food was great, waitress was great, prices were cheaper than most places.Food: 5/5
JaNet was an awesome server!. The food was great! I had the open face pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Very tender. And the side of fruit was very fresh. I love how clean every is when I am here.Food: 5/5
Vinny was amazing, wonderful, cheerful, very personable and most of all PATIENT. There was about 4 orders to be picked up by 4 different people when we got there. 1 of them was getting very upset because he had been waiting for a very long time. Then he began to just get rude and it got very uncomfortable trying to eat our food and watch every one of the staff members get yelled at by him. They each handled him very professional and calm. I mean one thing is just not working and being lazy but we saw all the workers, especially Vinny busting their butts as fast as they possibly could. People need to understand there's a thing called being low staffed and they are there to work, not get yelled at or harassed. Very impressive how this team handled the busy dinner time rush. Vinny kept our appetite going with his smile and KIND attitude! Very professional so thank you Vinny. We will be going back soon and hope to get you again!
Looks delicious but most of the burger was raw. Very dissatisfied. I like Village Inn the food is usually very good but not tonight. Burger was raw, however, Dallas did comp my meal and was very sorry for the poorly cooked burger. I will go back their chicken pot pie is to good not too.Food: 1/5
Food was good. Our particular waitress was good. Atmosphere was not. They were down a cook and all 3 employees wanted to make sure the whole restaurant knew this every 5 min. Waitresses in the back threatening to quit, dishes being thrown in the back, waitresses in the middle of the dining room yelling, never seen anything like it. Manager obviously did not give a woot what so ever. Luckily our waitress was able to keep her cool and our food was your typical breakfast food.
Food was pretty good, potatoes were really hard. There was hardly anyone there and apparently no cooks because it took forever to get the food. The waitress was amazing but unfortunately she didn't have much to work with. Too bad.Food: 4/5

Shout out to this Village Inn, and especially to the hostess, Andi. Wife and I used to come here all the time when we lived closer, but then we moved 3 or 4 miles away last year, and hadn't been here during that whole time. We walk in and Andi immediately recognizes us and says, "Hey you guys! It's been a while, how are you two?" I was surprised because she was always lovely and kind and nice, but she sees a lotta people. But still, she remembered us, and it was just so sweet. Her smiling face, her kindness was just so great to see as we walked through the door. I couldn't help but just smile back and be happy. I explained that we moved and that's why we hadn't been back but we will make more of an effort to come in. And she giggled and said, "Ok you're excused" and then followed that up with the nicest thing! She said, "Well welcome home." It was just so nice, so sincere, made me feel all warm and fuzzy, like seeing a friend. We'll definitely be back a lot more as long as Andi's happy smiling face is there to greet us!
Our lunch was fine, no complaints... Until we wanted to order 2 slice's of pie, and the long and short of it was you had vertically had nothing! This location had 3 pies! Coconut cream, Peanut butter cream, and a Chocolate Carmel cream pie. None of which he wanted and couldn't understand why there were pies in the cooler that were never offered! The waitress kept pushing the coconut cream pie and after the 5th or 6th no thank you, we just said our goodbyes. We were told that no one made pies for the last day or two... Not what we expected to hear coming from VI. I will say that I did try the Choc Carmel pie and didn't finish it. I could only get through the Choc. and the whip cream topping... Won't try that pie again.
