Hanna or henna. Has glasses is amazing! She’s a bullet. Fast but so effective at her job. She was super friendly during traffic hour and was so fast. Helped me out with a positive attitude. Never met a more friendly postal worker. Thank you!
What the hell. There is barely one person working here. The last 3 times the line was out the door. Disgraceful state this post office is in. Either they hire and people quit or they don't hire and overwork their employees. Sad and I wish I had another post office closer
Rowena Felisardo is the nicest and most helpful front desk staff I ever dealt with. We will definitely come here instead of our neighborhood post office in Cerritos.
Avoid this location if your the owner of a small business. On about two occasions I shipped multiple packages from this location, and they never arrived to their destination. I even asked the woman who created my labels if they were good to go, and she told me they were packaged fine and that they should arrive without any problems. It was at the start of my business and negatively impacted the reputation I was attempting to build and my inventory. I’ve gone to two different post offices since then and never had this issue ever again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all costs.
I don't really understand why this Post Office has such a low rating. I usually go there three or four times a month and I have always have been waited on by workers that are POLITE, COURTEOUS and HELPFUL. I've been to other Post Offices where the workers act like "what are you doing here and what do you want I've got other things to do than answer your questions"? I guess it is like anywhere else, you have good and polite workers and you have workers that just show up to get a paycheck. At this particular one I have never seen this, I have only seen polite and courteous workers behind the counter.
DO NOT GET REDELIVERY to this location. I was not home when they attempted the first delivery. I used their automated system to pick pick up directly from the post office and waited in the package pickup line for 45 minutes and avoided by all workers. Once I was helped, it took another 25 minutes to receive the package. I could have stood in the actual line twice and gotten my package. Never again.
The workers here are nice thus the two stars and this review is nothing about them. It's more bad because of the USPS management. This post office services about 10 square miles of dense suburban population. It's the sole full service USPS office for all of the greater Lakewood area. Because of this, there is a perpetual line out the door. Even if you get there minutes after they open, expect to have a line of approximately 10 people long or more. Even though it is a high volume location, for some reason the management only staff it with usually two workers and sometimes three. There are four help desks so I have no idea why they don't hire more people. I feel so bad for their overworked staff. I've seen annoying suburban old ladies on multiple occasions lose their patience and take it out on the staff. The parking lot is full for almost every hour they are open, it is along a very busy street, the drive-through mailboxes share the same small entry and exit driveways as the parking lot, the exit driveway is right next to a major intersetion and thus always blocked with traffic, and there are no convinent adjascent parking lots. The cars regualrly line up the street and parking lot trying to enter and exit the location. The narrow parking lot also means all cars have to wait for one car to slowly back out of the very narrow spaces. It can be quite stressful just to enter or exit this location. Every time I go to this locatin, I wonder why I went and I tell myself that I won't go here again until I forget my promise to myself enough to one day to return. The management really needs to better staff this place and redesign the parking lot... or better yet, open a much needed new location in the greater area.
I’m always surprised by the length of waiting time that it takes whenever I visit this Lakewood Post Office. I must say that all of the Postal Clerks are very respectful, acknowledgeable, and always personable and nice.
Went in, stood in line to buy priority stamps. All windows out of them. Tried three different machines and they all wanted a pin number for my credit card. My credit card doesnt have a pin number. Asked for manager. Henry the manager comes out and says well the machine is reading that your card has a pin, I tried to explain that I use it for business all the time and maybe something was wrong with the machines, he could care less. No stamps, total waste of time and attitude
I get it working in the service business and with the public can be TOUGH. But when an individual has done nothing wrong to you then you should not be horrid to that individual. I recently moved into this area. Eveyone's attitude and mood was so un-welcoming. These were some of the rudest people. Like they didn't want to help or be bothered. Time to clean house and get more upbeat individuals who are enthused about helping. Now I understand the low ratings. I will continue to drive out of My way to my old postal service in another city.
