This place has gotten insane. There's currently a line of 20 people out the door. One person working. STAFF YOUR LOCATION PROPERLY. Who is managing this location? Please do better. You're wasting people's time and a LOT of time at that.
Horrible service. I came here at 12 pm today and this slim, gray-haired older lady with a Hispanic accent told me, "We're closed," although the door was unlocked. I didn't get her name, so I'm using as much detail as I can remember. I explained that I'm a teacher and can't make it here during the week, but she showed zero compassion or consideration. She told me I could use the kiosk machine and I said I didn't know how to use it. She said she can show me how, but was super unhelpful... and she couldn't explain the timeframe difference in using the kiosk versus human service. The last thing I want is help from someone who clearly doesn't want to help me. I just told her, "Thank you," and hightailed it out of there. If you have other postal options, please avoid this location like the plague... or COVID circa 2020.
RUDE STAFF ALERT ‼‼‼‼‼ On March 29,2023 around 2:45 pm I made a visit to this post office for the first time. With my surprise I was told what boxes not to use without asking for guidance. As a Poshmark seller I’ve never had never came across this problem. I tried to explain to the front clerk that we are about to use any shipping box EXCEPT EPRESS mail. And let me tell you that’s when it went down hill from there. I told the front clerk to just scan my packages and I’ll never come back her! She gave me my packages and told me to get them scanned elsewhere. I asked to speak with management which I did and they were super nice and understanding but the clerk kept on running her mouth while checking out another person. At the end of the day I got my stuff scanner by management and left but will never visit this post office again.
Almost everytime I have a package delivery, they don't deliver it because the employee doesn't want to go the up stairs and then I have to waste my time and gas to go up there a day later. Because they don't let you pick it up the same day the delivery attempt is made If this is going to happen everytime the lady works that runs my route, just give me a P.O box so at least I can get my package when I expect it.
Gets notified that I have to pick up my package from the post office. Wakes up goes before work, “no your package will be delivered”. Now I get a notice to come pick up my package, and zero way to contact them …. Also if you live in an apartment good luck with them even attempting to deliver your package… even if you are home at the time. They don’t even try!
The the USPS staff wasn't very pro-active. They grudgingly acknowledged me when I walked in the door there was no one else in line and there were 3 people behind the service desk. What looked like staff members, I couldn't tell because they weren't all wearing USPS Uniforms and name badges. They were not good listeners and they were quick to pass the buck. My package is 25lbs in weight. Length 4ft 2.5 inches 2.5 inches in diameter. Their max weight for delivery is 75lbs and 180 inches. That information came from Ms. Mosley, who was that post office's Supervisor/ with 30 years experience. Ms. Mosley said that the USPS policy on packages within those dimensions will not be delivered to the addresses door step. That is not a service that USPS provides. She went on to explain that oversized packages that do not fit in mail box or in the over flow mail boxes, for Apt. complexes. The customers need to pick those packages up at the addresses designated post office. "Ok, then why is USPS taking deliveries that they are NOT going to deliver to the customers address?? USPS is getting paid for orders and package delivery that they are not going to deliver. When I asked Ms. Mosley to please give me a copy of the USPS delivery policy, she said didn't have one. When I asked where on the USPS website, That I could find that information? Her response was she hadn't looked at the website in her 30 years..lol Nor did she know of any recent updates. So this is what our Taxpayers Dollars Pay For If this isn't incompetence or just a plain Lazy Attitude, I don't know what is My packages original delivery date was January 21st. I was left a note in my mail box. Instead of the package being dropped at my door step. Ok we know why per the "USPS POLICY" so when I called the 1-800 and went through the process of re-delivery and the automated gave and option to drop off package at my door step on Jan 23rd that never happened either. So my re-delivery was ignored or the Staff at that AL Lipscomb Post Office chose not to honor the terms and conditions of the re-delivery. Therefore I had to drive to the AL Lipscomb P.O. to pick my package my self plus I had to deal with some really poor attitudes. Typical Federal Government Service. If these folks hate their jobs so much they need not live off the Taxpayers Dollars POOR SERVICE AND POOR ATTITUDES
An employee named "DJ" held about ten people in line while conducting a personal phone call to order food from Uber. Her manager, Bernice, looked on and did nothing. I refuse to support these people with my taxes!
It is the second time in three months that I received notification that my packages have been delivered and signed but nothing arrives at my door…I need someone from USPS Lakewood to explain…
This 5 star review is dedicated to the most professional worker, Patty. It's not everyday that you can rely on most post office workers to be professional and helpful like this outstanding person here. Keep up the great work! Again, this is a 5 star review, and she deserves it.
I have never been treated more rudely than I was this afternoon by an employee named DJ. Evidently she was having a bad day she was very impatient with the customer in front of me too, but she should not take out her personal problems on others. Very nasty attitude. My previous visits to this location were pleasant, so I was surprised by this experience.
