The Lakin family has been noting but kind and sympathetic to me and my family for generations. Donovan provided services for my great grandparents, and my most beloved grandmother Elsie Mae and most recently the sudden unexpected death of my mother. Living hundreds of miles away Donovan always reassured me he would take the best care of my loved ones especially my grandmother that passed away in a hospital, the thought of her being left there was physically painful for me, Donovan went and picked her up right away. Thank you Lakin Funeral home for all your love, sympathy and support over the years.

The folks at Lakin treated us so well, I can’t say enough good things about them. They were kind and compassionate, listened to our concerns, talked us through the process, and were flexible. They made sure my father had an excellent memorial. The whole sad affair was made so much easier, having this professional team handling the details. Thank you all.

The Lakin family were very kind and patient during the viewing of my father. They were there for anything we needed. Let me make payment arrangements even though I have missed a few months.

Please, please do not entrust these horrible people with your loved ones. The day my fiancé was taken from me, I called and asked to see him. They were extremely hateful and heartless. Literally yelled at me for asking such a thing at 10pm. Finally, I was able to go see him and the entire time I was trying to say goodbye they were standing near me asking inappropriate questions or clearing their throats wanting me to hurry along. They were harsh in their words. The male owner would not allow me to hold my fiancé's hand and said he was mangled from the chest down in his accident...turns out this was a complete lie. Please do not let these heartless jerks handle your precious loved ones.
