Love the new look and the ambiance of Lama Mediterranean Cuisine. The food never disappoints. I love the grilled eggplant dish served with safron rice! I am not a vegetarian But Man! This delicate dish hit me at all right places… Enjoy the taste of Baklava, nutty and not sensual sweet taste just right balance! Enjoy the half hour Belly Dance! The dancer she’s so beautiful and sexy yet so elegantly presenting the culture! Thank you for such a wonderful night!
This was my first time to LAMA and I was completely blown away by the amazing taste of the food, the presentation, the portions are insane and the ambiance is so fitting. The owner came and chat with us a while; so friendly and appreciative of their customers. All the staff was extremely nice and attentive. We've definitely found our new weekly spot.
This place is very elegant inside. Fish tanks, fancy chairs and tables. The scene matches how great the food is here. Every time I’m in the Woodlands I have to make a pit stop here. The food is so delicious and fulfilling. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving Mediterranean food! Persian tea last pic is complimentary on your first visit so make sure to let them know!!!!
I stumbled upon this gem in The Woodlands today, craving Mediterranean food. Let me tell y'all--- THIS PLACE IS TRULY A GEM. The music was so relaxing along with the fountains throughout the restaurant. The food was delectable. I didn't get a picture of the chicken kabob plate that I had cause it looked so good that I just went right in! Lol The tea service was so delicious and dainty. And OMG the baklava was the best I've ever had. Seriously. It was perfect. Not too sweet or messy. Just dandy. If you're in the area and even if you aren't, this place is worth the drive. Stop by Lama on Friday or Saturday evening for belly dancing. I came too early and I'm sad I don't live in the area cause I'd come back. Thank you, Doris, for being an awesome waitress. Your recommendations were on point and perfectly selected. I'll be back to see you soon. Cheers to the weekend!
I love that place so much! Lama Mediterranean Persian Cuisine is my favorite in the Woodlands. Firstly, the food is absolutely amazing. Be prepared for the large portions that you’ll most likely take home. I love that too. I never have to cook the next day Secondly, the vibe of the place is coziness and it shows. The place was decorated with love and attention to details. Thirdly, the owner Ali is super cool. We had a great talk on how he started. He showed us the photos of what the place looked like before and I can say that he and his team spent a lot of efforts on making it what it is today. One thing that I’d like the management to take a look at is the service of some not all!! waiters. Unfortunately, the previous 2 times we have been at Lama’s were a bit hectic. We tried to drive the attention of the waiters to some issues we pointed out and it took them a while to fix. The waiters seem either busy, or tired, or both, so it naturally impacts the service they provide. I know that it’s a hard job to keep everyone satisfied and for the waiters to keep everything in mind during the shift, but I feel like some waiters still need to try harder. It happened twice only for now, but I feel like it becomes the tendency, not the accidents. And again, not all waiters! Anyway, I give it 5 stars. We are always coming back here.
A soon as we walked in we knew that this place was going to be delicious, and they did not disappoint. From the atmosphere to the hospitality and the flavor of the delicious food, we were more than impressed. The owner introduced himself and gave a warm welcome. Shayla and Abraham, our servers, made recommendations and were extremely courteous and helpful. Since this was our first time coming here, they presented us with complimentary tea and Baklava. Everything was delicious, and we would definitely come again, and recommend this first-class restaurant to everyone. As a plus, they have live entertainment on the weekends.
Pleasant change. The decor is modern bright and clean. The wait staff we had was very pleasant and helpful. The food was good not superb. Very Good. we had the lamb shank both in stool and by itself well cooked and it fell off the bone, lacked a little bit of spice.
The owner Ali greeted us upon arrival at the hostess area and came and checked up on me along every other customer at the restaurant. They have inside and outside seating with a belly dancer or country singer on Friday’s & weekend’s. The food was amazing highly recommend trying meals from the Persian section. The staff was great, and I was able to sit inside for dinner and enjoy the singer then belly dancer and go outdoors for hookah, tea and dessert. Best service ever will be a regular for sure. Thank you Ali and our fantastic first time here. This is a restaurant for all age groups and families/young adults as well. This food was the closest thing to Somali food, and I enjoyed every bit and felt at home. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and plenty of seating for inside or outside small or big groups. Parking: Plenty of parking there’s a parking lot Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options and plenty of selection from lamb, chicken and seafood as well
We have been wanting to try this place and so happy we did! It’s nice inside with very friendly staff. We got a couple of appetizers that were really good the Kibbeh and Lama Shrimp. Our entrees were great, too. We got the Gyros platter and Paputsakia. Both came with a side salad and I LOVE a good Greek salad. Lastly, their warm pita bread was INCREDIBLE. I would go there just for that to be honest.
We enjoyed the food and the ambiance... Jennifer was our server for most of our long lunch but she stepped out for awhile and we had some other person check on us... I think if she would have stayed we would've given 5 stars for service but we had to flag down wait staff on multiple occasions... Overall a great experience...Food: 5/5
