Definitely my one-stop-shop by far! Great mechanics, knowledgeable and with great feedback and advice. You can count on them to build your bike right! Shout out to Madison for a solid build on my Marin.
Our entire e-bike rental experience from the first phone call to the last drop-off encounter was above our expectations. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond by selecting bikes for our sizes and not charging extra for the important things that helped make our biking adventure easier and safer. They answered our questions and pointed us in the right direction for the trails, sight-seeing, etc. The e-bikes we rode were amazing!!! Harrisonburg is a bike-friendly town and we thoroughly enjoyed our day touring it on e-bikes. Thank you Shenandoah Bicycle Company!!
I bought a bike here and after getting it home and riding it realized it was not what I had expected and I shared my disappointment with Thomas, the co-owner. He invited me to come in with the bike to talk about what problems I was having with the bike. He spent nearly two hours with me, listening to my concerns and assessing what could be done. He made some changes to the bike setup and made sure I felt comfortable with the fit and performance. He also provided some education on general bike topics and we had an enjoyable visit. Can't say enough good things about the shop and all the staff. Mark was very helpful in narrowing down what type of bike I was looking for. I would recommend them to anyone. Chuck, July 2023
Service was outstanding , had software issue with my Pivot e-bike . They came highly recommended by another bike store . We were on vacation and only had a couple riding days left They gave us service same day . Effectively diagnosed and repaired issue and got me back on the trails by the afternoon . Madison is an amazing mechanic and we are very grateful for his expertise and kindness throughout our service . All the staff are top notch and treat the shop like their own . They have great bike gear for shopping too and a yummy smoothie bar on premises .
After researching all the comfort bikes online, I narrowed my search down to the Trek Verve. I went to Shenandoah Bicycle Company in Harrisonburg to test ride and get the proper size bike. What a pleasant experience this was from start to finish. Mark greeted me at the door, answered all my questions and helped me get fitted for the perfect size bike. This place has excellent customer service with people who are passionate about bikes. I love my new Trek Verve 2 and highly recommend visiting Shenandoah Bicycle Company for your next bike.
I was a walk in after riding the Western Slope and needed to have my brakes adjusted. Madison was welcoming and made room to change my pads while I waited and had a beer and delicious smoothie. Meanwhile, I was looking for new shoes and a helmet to replace my aging equipment. Thomas was patient in hearing my needs and explaining all my options. He spent 20 minutes with me, even measuring my feet and installing the cleats on my new shoes. The guys on the hill told me to go to SBS and they did not disappoint- even pointing me to the brewery for a post-ride libation!
Great service with very fast turnaround time. Very good diagnosis and suggestions for service. The adjustments made my bike feel like new!!!
The friendly, knowledgeable staff gave me the assurance that I made the right decision by calling them. We handled everything over the phone with no worries. I wasn't rushed or put off. My son was very pleased with his bike. Thank you!
SBC is by far the best LBS in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Their staff are the most knowledgeable and helpful folks that any cyclist could ask for. To them it’s not about the sale, it’s about the customer. Jack, Luke and Madison have all provided top notch service and support on my bike. Although I didn’t purchase my bike from SBC it was purchased from another Trek dealer when the supply was limited they jumped right in to provide warranty support. Being that I am from out of town, I don’t have the opportunity to stop by often, but when I do I am greeted by name. There is no better compliment to a customer than having that level of personalized service. I will be a customer for life.
Great selection of bikes and accessories. This shop is very attentive to paying attention to individual customers and their questions! Thanks for running a great shop!!!
