Lamplighter Motel

This was a lovely place to stay well located and amazing and caring staff. The rooms were clean and cozy. I would stay here again and they are affordable.Rooms: 4/5

I used to stay at this motel before the new managers came in and it was run very poorly and with little care. The new managers Neil and his wife have a heart and care to give their renters a nice and peaceful experience. They are very professional and polite. I forgot to get my deposit one day and a few days later it was back in my account. I felt very respected and have much trust in them in caring and giving the best motel experience you hope to get for your money. Thank you Neil and your wife for coming in and cleaning up the motel and giving it a new personality. I would recommend anyone of all ages to now trust this place and don't hold onto previous notions from word of mouth or experience. This is a new place. Thank you

While my husband, kids, and I were between housing, we stayed at the Lamplighter Motel. I had heard some pretty crummy things about the place so I had low expectations but it turned out more than okay. Neil and his wife were so friendly and helpful, it really took a lot of the pressure we were feeling off of our shoulders. It's not the fanciest place but it was more than adequate. We had a mini fridge and microwave in our room that both worked well. We got a 2 bed room 2 beds, 1 room so there wasn't a lot of extra space for walking around but we pushed the beds together when we weren't sleeping to make more room and that was fine. The free wifi was a huge plus too and managed to support my oldest participating in his online school as well as my youngest watching videos. While we were there, Neil and Alicia made several adjustments to improve the general feel and appearance of the place which were nice. There is a designated smoking area outside that is well kept and they usually empty the ash trays daily. All in all, I do recommend it if you don't require fancy accommodations.

The staff wasn't particularly friendly and kept accusing us of having a dog we honestly didn't. The shower head sprayed water everywhere and you had to hold the lever on the toilet down for a while to actually get it to flush. But the price was reasonable and the location convenient to stores and fast food.

From the first time I stayed there 1 1/2 years ago till recently , I have seen a drastic improvement in cleanliness, service and preparedness. The rooms are well made up, are very clean and if there's any issues, when brought to the attention of the office, they are addressed immediately! The staff does their best to be very accommodating even during the covid-19 situation. The housekeepers are polite and helpful.There's always clean towels, clean bedding, and freshly made coffee in the office.

I didn't personally stay here myself however, I rented a room here for an out-of-town guests. The owners are a husband and wife team and they are both very kind, light-hearted and have an awesome sense if humor. The rooms are VERY reasonably priced especially for the Longmont area. It's an older establishment so it doesn't just catch your attention but, it is very clean and comfortable. I would not only recommend it to those on a budget, but to those looking to stay in the of Longmont as well.

I will say for a cheap Motel this place is clean everytime. It has a bathtub to soak in if you like. This is no Hilton by any means and the sheets and pillows and everything else is cheap but it is a clean place to stay if your on a budget. It doesn't really get to loud here but there are occasional visits from the police for someone acting up but I have never witnessed anything too bad there. The staff seems courteous and is fair. They do not seem to be out to rip anyone off and only ask a small $10.00 deposit even if you pay cash. Just refrain from smoking in the rooms. They will ban you fir it.

These Rooms Are The Cheapest Around. The Worker's Are All Nice. They Only Have Rooms With 1 Bed. They Have Been Cleaning This Place Up Pretty Good. Keep Up The Good Work.Rooms: 3/5

A good place for a night or two. Spacious rooms with fridge and air conditioning. Phone, WiFi and cable also. Roomy bathroom with shower and really hot water. Owners were friendly and always ready to help visiting guests. Housekeeping very friendly and always asking if something was needed. Four stars, however, for tobacco smell that still lingers from previous owners. But reasonably priced. Other motels in the area charge too much for the same accommodations.
