Aug 2023 update. Some posters fyi! Toopy and Binoo looks cute. Cinema at the central Surrey, right next to guildford mall so you can get both done if you want!
Good seats, etc, recently seems to be shortstaffed though. Theatre was dirty and later on staff had to ask people to leave so they could clean were behind schedule, also the washrooms and such were missing paper towel. Still positive experiences so 4* but its worth noting I do feel bad for the cleaners this time, seems like there were only 2 people cleaning.. finished just as the movie was set to start, they seemed so tired
Excellent surround sound systems, spacious seating arrangements, clean and vibrant place with snacks, drinks. A perfect place to spend time with our beloved ones.
Love going to this theatre! Way better than Langley! Nice comfy reclining seats, and big screen although the advertisement are super long! I went to go watch the Barbie movie, and the advertisements made the movie start 14 minutes late! Lines for popcorn are crazy so I recommend to go at least 15 minutes before the movie begins to get your popcorn and candy.
The things I like about this theater are 1 every seat is like a big comfy lazy boy recliner 2 paying for the membership is totally worth it if you go 5 or more movies a year 3 the staff and friendly and helpful. Last time I was there our seats wouldn't recline. Someone came and fixed the issue within a couple minutes. 4 the theaters are all a good size but not huge. Every seat has a great view of the screen 5 those drink dispensers are cool! Feels like an infinite number of drink selections using a touch screen Not many negatives to say about the theater. The popcorn is good, but I do prefer the Cineplex popcorn. Not a whole lot of food options either. But I keep going back because of the awesome recliner chairs!
This location used to be pretty excellent. However, the administration or whoever is in charge of this theatre is definitely acting more frugally these days. They charge extra for the comfort of the SEATS, the sound, and the comfort. But these seats are absolutely terrible to look at. These seats appear to have been purchased at a flea market and then simply put to their halls. This is unacceptable, Landmark Cinema, and you guys can do so much better. I used to be a member of Cineplex, but I switched to the Guildford landmark cinema since I was more loyal to it. However, since there is almost no difference between the two, I might as well return to utilizing my scene points for Cineplex's free movies.
I haven't been to a movie forever but I'm glade I went here. I had the premiere seats which were nice because I actually felt cold for once... lol and I wear shorts 365 including in the snow so it was nice to have the heated seat option and the side table came in handy for snacks, well worth the few extra dollars. I've seem complaints of mice I didn't experience any but also think about it if you see how people be spilling their snacks at any theater they all will have this same issue
Fantastic Movie Theatre with Premium Seating available in Individual Electric Reclining Love-seats. Get Comfortable with your Significant Other and watch a movie on the Big Screen. The Coca-Cola "Freestyle" soda fountain lets up try up to 127 Different Flavours. Only Problem… The Bathrooms are Always Atrocious.
The best thing about this cinema is their seats. Adjustable leg rests and full recliner, no partition in the middle between the paired seats, are super comfortable if you’re bringing someone special to cuddle with during a movie. Pro tip- bring a little blanket for extra snuggles: Snacks are typical theatre snacks. Popcorn, nachos, candy. They also offer hot dogs, and Their little pizzas aren’t half bad either. They do get extra points for a good variety of flavoured soda drinks. You fill them yourself, so feel free to experiment with mixing those flavours to create your own. Facilities are clean and plentiful. One star lost due to staff shortages. This means you could be waiting in line for snacks a little longer. Overall, I think this is my favourite cinema to come to.
Honestly, seats are comfortable but stinks the whole time. It was so annoying to have that smell coming from everywhere probably due to less AC/more temperature, makes it even worse. The washrooms were dirty.
