This is an unassuming hillside stretch that really doesn't look like much from a distance. I suppose for lots of people, it really isn't much. The great outdoors isn't great for everybody, and that's fine. But what if you're someone who, like me, enjoys getting out there in it? Well, the answer is simple: check it out. Because once you get up close, you'll find a lovely walking path, a disc golf course, two picnic shelters, a butterfly garden, pickleball courts, two large modern playground sets, two public restrooms, ample parking and I haven't fully explored it all yet so I am probably missing something. But what I am not missing is the fact that on this humble hillside the designers have put together a really nice park. 5 stars? Sure, why not.
Everything is based on smaller kids. I would say ages 1-5. The slides were short, and the platform was not high, which was perfect for my 1 year old and 4 years old. The park had a couple of musical Montessori toys. Canopies above the play area and a large picnic shelter.
We went to the place for a festival. To me it was not worth going. Only about 10 crafters when I love going to them. No chairs or benches to listen to the band. I am disabled and husband also. No place for handicapped to park ! Unacceptable
This park has plenty of space and things for everyone.
My grandkids saw the playground & wished to stop. There were many young children playing. Bathrooms aren't open yet. Further down there is another playset for older kids, but not close enough where I'd leave elementary school children to bring younger ones down to the other one. There is disc golf available at this park.
Great place to just let the brats run free, and I can relax
This is a great park to have events at. It has a stage and everything. I recommend this for big events
Its nice, they spent lots tax money on the park.
A good mix of long and short holes making Thier disc golf course one of my favorites
Played pickle ball with some friends while the kids played on the playground. There are also a few sand volleyball courts in the same area and benches.
