Parker Mortuary has been serving Joplin and surrounding communities since 1931. Our facility is centrally located at 15th & Main Streets and offers well-lit parking to accommodate 120 vehicles. We offer Batesville caskets and urns and Doric burial vaults. Our mission is meet each families needs and specific arrangements with understanding, compassion and commitment. For those desiring options for cremation, we own and operate our own onsite crematory. Please call us anytime we may be of help or answer questions. We answer our own phones 24/7. Be aware if you are not paying the bill at Parker you have no rights and cannot even write in the Condolence section. My father passed away on July 25,2023. I asked Pat if I could have some of my father's ashes and I would even pay shipping. Pat never responded to my email or phone call. My stepmother did not want me to be able to write in the Condolence section. Everytime I wrote in it, Parker removed it from being seen. so freedom of speech is not allowed at Parker I could say a lot more, but why bother.
All of the staff at Parker mortuary are phenomenal! They went above and beyond for not only on arrangements and every complication that came their way with insurance but with the happiness and well being of my child and the whole family! I can’t express the piece of mind they gave at such a hard time.
The Lesh family is grateful for the love, care, and support Parker especially Pat Dugan provided.
I cannot boast enough about Pat Dugan and the rest of the staff. Pat helped me plan my father's funeral and got everything spot on! He was able to answer all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns. I honestly can't think of anything I would have changed. Thank you all for making this sad and stressful situation a bit easier for myself and my family.
I attended a funeral here today, at the cost of Covid.. chairs weren't seperated to be 6ft apart, some employees were not wearing masks and others were not wearing then correctly. They didn't seem to have respect for the situation and that is very disappointing.
They have taken care of our family for over 100 years if that tells you anything. A young lady named Ashley handled our last family death back in june 2020 top respects to her God bless.
Parker Mortuary has handled all of our families needs for many years. They have gone above and beyond in our time of grief. We will continue to use them on the future.
Held every family funeral at Parker. Wonderful place, treats everyone well. A great place to honor your loved ones.
They've always taken great care of our loved ones and I'm still here to leave a review and take a picture so I guess Life's good right LOL
I have had only good experiences with Parker. Very compassionate and professional.
