Love the margaritas. Great food and drinks. Try the seasoned sour cream with the waffle fries.

The restaurant is new and has been completely redone on the inside and it is nice! Very comfortable setting, nice seating, clean bathrooms. Our original waitress wasn't overly talkative but later we had a man help us and he was very attentive, professional, and helpful. They had a high chair available for my daughter which was nice. We thought the food was good and well priced. My burger was done as I asked and was tasty. My lunch date had a prime rib sandwich and highly approved. Soup was also good. I will be going back again, taking my husband out for date night.
Adult meals were excellent. However, kids free meal on Monday night was overcooked to the point he couldn't eat it. Had to remind waitress his meal was free, and she brought our food and never came back, which is a pet peeve of my husband's as he enjoys drink refills. Then had to find someone to pay as she never even brought our check. We will try again since food was good but they need to step up their service.
Landy's is definitely one of my favorite places in town. Their burgers are fantastic, my favorite is probably the Border burger. Not only is the food great, the staff takes the time to remember you. It makes the experience so much better when you are treated like you are important. I would definitely highly recommend going, and will probably be visiting it more often myself.
Food was better than I was expecting based on very basic decor and limited menu that could use more descriptive text or photos. Local recommended for waffle fries & dip but they were nowhere near as good as Granite City! I would skip the hefty upcharge and get the kettle chips which were tasty and included!
I was here in December. Bartenders are unfriendly. I could definitely tell they served the locals first even if you had been standing at the bar first waiting patiently. Very odd vibe in the place. My fiance and I went to grab a seat at the bar. As soon as we were going to sit a group a younger people approached us and told us they were sitting there grabbing the chairs away from us... There was nothing indicating they had been sitting there. Bartenders watched the whole thing. Overall unfortunately bad experience.
The service is nice here and though they've always had some good food, I feel like they've improved their beef patties recently. I asked about the improvement and they said they hadn't changed unless their local butcher shop from which they get their meat cleaned something. Either way, I recommend their burgers and the Monte Cristo. I wish they had a few more beer options.
The first waitress we had in the dining area was phenomenal. We then moved into the bar area and one waitress stopped when we had 1/2 a drink left. That was 50 minutes ago. 2 waitresses have walked passed us at least 8 times and just smile. The bar is about 1/2 full so not busy at all. Extremely poor service!!!!
Used to rate this place 4 stars but not anymore. They've changed recipes on things that used to be very good, the customer service was absolutley laughable over how little there was of it, and the waitress we had was in our face rude. The $18 prime rib is fit to feed dogs. It was dry, and tasteless, and couldn't have been $5. The accompanying vegetables weren't cooked like they should've been, and had no flavor or seasoning, they didn't even use butter to cook them. The waffle fries the few they gave compared to a plate full like everywhere else does and they use to do had a weird seasoning that was gross my slightly drunk friend liked them if that's saying anything. The waitress didn't refill glasses, didn't talk to us at all, and didn't even bring us our bill until we went to the bar and asked. She then told us she was busy and we'd have to wait. We waited 5 minutes finally got the bill,that she slammed on the bar next to us, and left. Horribly disappointing compared to what it used to be. I hope it changes but me and mine have completely written this restaurant off since it's a sad shadow of what it used to be. [I adore this place. The food is fantastic, the wait is always worth it, and you can play billiards or darts with your friends.
