Langston University-Tulsa

They are not forthcoming with the application process I applied with them and they charged me an application fee and 18 year old me was like ok. I didn't know any better since my parents didn't go to college. Didn't end up going to the college but I did get charged for 4 years worth of dorm living when I never signed up for it come to find out that the APPLICATION FEE they charged me was for that and I had enrolled for dorm living without me knowing. Now I have to pay for 4 years worth of dorm living that I never even went too. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE A SCAM AND WHEN YOU TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM THEY GIVE YOU THE RUNAROUND SO YOU JUST GIVE UP.

Langston University is currently being renovated. Looks like I will be working there as well. They have some improvements to the park across the street. A new exercise area will be added. I will start tuesday.

From what I have gathered, the university has taken a new direction/interest in allied healthcare services! The technology has been updated, campus security/police is on site, and diversity has been noticed. Flexible night AND in person courses with consistency in customer service per admins and lead of this campus'. My largest concern is computer science courses aren't offered at this campus for undergrad. That is all.

Outside is a great place to get some exercise...walking, jogging....nice trails and track areas around the university.

Park across the street is from a paper submitted to outside source during COVID-19.

Administration is incompetent. Every interaction I have had with administration has been a nightmare and they have almost cost me a job because of it. Also academically they are well below average. I would strongly recommend seeking education elsewhere.

The Greenwood Legacy Festival is a beautiful celebration of unity, restoration and peace.

Love the closeness of the campus....and being able to get the help needed.
