Lantana Health Department

I went there for the very first time. One of the medical assistants decided to be very rude to me because I did not bring my medication bottles. Honestly I think he was being bias. When I made the appointment no one told me to bring my med bottles and when I have gone to private doctors in the past I only always just took my med list. So how was I supposed to know to bring all of my medication bottles?! Then when I finally got to see the doctor which took HOURS he barged in and told her the nutritionist is available. I think he was trying to be funny because I am plus sized. He was very rude and unprofessional and I never went back to this clinic.

Very helpful and friendly receptionistsat window the nurse was also very polite and soft spoken.

Caring providers and staff. Great for maternity services, STDs and for birth control.

Last time I went there they told me I owed them $$160.00,from the previous visit and another 160 .00 for tht visit, my file shows that I am indigent and controlled and look. They can't even get a decent programmers for complaints homeless with severe epilepsy if not chemical l

This place is awful...not only do they change what they want from you, like paperwork etc, at the last minute, but they don't say the same thing within the different areas of the Healthcare district and will drop bombs on you last minute making you have to deal with drama and chaos. No consideration for a patients time or state of health, mentally or physically. My suggestion is to go to the ER instead of here and or find another place that can help you. If you go here to the Healthcare District you are probably not going to get treated with respect or get your health taken care of properly. Oh and FYI if you have mental health issues that you're being treated for, my suggestion is go to south County mental health and see a dr there and use their pharmacy. Bottom line is not only are the services and policies inconsistent, so is the staff and Healthcare and unless you want the stress of not knowing what last minute problematic surprise they will have in-store for you, then I definitely wouldn't go here. Just awful!!!

Thank you to this branch office. Before my birth and after you all have been amazing in assisting me & my baby boy. Thank you all for your kindness & being very informative. Thank you for having to transition to complete customer service during this time. Thank you that this this type of assistance is in place for mothers in need like myself. Words cant explain. Im just so greatful!

Most of the staff is not friendly and are always cranky. I have met Mrs.Hollis and she is great. I scheduled an appointment over the phone and was treated like trash by Rosa Gonzales because I didn’t have an appointment card. How could I when I set an appointment on the phone? I was trying to tell her that and she cut me off by saying just have a seat in a very rude tone. Then she also went to complain about how understaffed and busy they were and how she called someone for help and they didn’t seem to care. How unprofessional?

I would like to take this time and acknowledge a wonderful upmost professional person Connie Upshaw. A truly kindhearted person that treats every person she encounters with the up most respect. A true asset to the Lantana health department. Thank you Ms. Connie for all that you do.

Connie was AMAZING in coordinating and transferring immunization files, despite a State website that kept crashing. Patient, thorough, and very friendly with customers coming and going from the building. Fact is, you have to go into a place like this with your expectations low. Expect to wait, expect things to not be perfectly easy. Be prepared with something to read or something look on your phone, or a game to play or conversation to have. You go in like that, you're going to be fine and you just might be pleasantly surprised how well things go.

Both experiences I have had has been the fastest transactions in any establishment similar to this one as well as very helpful!!!! I went in to see a Ms. Donna about my medical records and she was super helpful! I spent a max of maybe 5 mins w/ both processes!
