Back in 2008 Dr. Rifenbery just about killed my sister with just a simple gallbladder procedure, he knicked her colon and that caused her to go septic, died on the table and was revived, after several months of rehab and in and out of hospitals and Dr's offices, we've learned of the nickname Dr. "Slicenbery" from St. Joseph Hospital, 10 years later she is disabled and has never been the same, he took away her quality of life and her independence. He should have his license revoked, with several class action suits against him, I'm surprised he's still around!!

I've had the pleasure of rotating with Dr. Rifenbery for nearly a month and have seen with my own eyes, the skills he has honed to not only be an effective and successful surgeon, but a preceptor and educator who wishes to train to his best ability, the next generation of physician. I can recall situations where he has went above and beyond, and have done the absolute right things for patients, without a thought of any personal, financial, or professional gain. If you're wanting a surgeon with integrity, Dr. Rifenbery is the one for you. In addition, Dr. Rifenbery is very much up to date on the advances in medicine, and can provide refreshing insight in surgical options, despite the chaos of the healthcare industry. He is undoubtedly patient-centric, and seeks the best outcomes for his patients.

The main doctor James D. Rifenbery is not professional. Does not give any good advice, and could not even diagnose my problem even though i was 100% sure what i had. He seemed to be in a rush. Majority of the patients are elderly people. i drove there over one hour for nothing.

My surgery went very smooth and was done in a very professional manor. The office staff was also very professional and a delight to work with. I would highly recommend this surgeon to anyone including my family members and friends.
