I am very disappointed in having to write this review but it was a long time coming. I have been a Laque client for the last 5 years and over time I have noticed the customer service and quality of work has just gotten worse and worse. Yesterday was the final straw for me. I had originally booked a fill with nail art but called in during the week and had to change it to a full set with nail art as all my nails had popped off before my appointment which was fine cuz they were old. No problem, she changed it. My nail tech was a very sweet woman and I enjoyed chatting with her very much. The part that turned the entire experience sour was when the owner Marina came back and told me I had to book a different appointment or more time because the nail art I chose was two different types of nail art. This really upset me because it wasn’t the first time they’ve done this to me. The last time was with a tech who was taking a very long time to do my nails and apparently that was my fault because I didn’t book all the right appointments. The front desk girl at the time was extremely rude and disrespectful. The nail tech also didn’t do the design I wanted and I had to opt for a basic polish. First off, I am not an employee of Laque so I have no idea what needs to be booked. I’m not a nail technician and I don’t know what your definitions of “nail art” is because apparently it changes each time I’ve been there as of late. I have called before in the past to make appointments but ever since they switched to an online system I was told I have to do it online, they can then change the appointment if needed. What really irked me yesterday was that the owner came to the back after an employee already came back to tell her of her next client and was upset with my nail tech and me again, bad customer service which caused my nail tech to be visibly worried and hurried and totally ruined my nails. She was new to the place so I understand she was scared of her employer but in the end it backfired because she hurried and did a poor job. I have posted the pic of the nails I wanted and what I got. Tell me, do these look like $170 nails to you $140 for the products and service, and 20% tip? Cuz they sure as hell don’t look it to me. The nails and polish are so bumpy, and the chrome didn’t go on thoroughly so you can see the black polish through it and some spots are even missing chrome entirely. For being such a long time client the gaslighting, carelessness and disrespect is very hurtful. I am hoping they can fix and rectify this situation. Update to your response, Marina: I was there for only 2.5 hrs. My appt was at 10am, I was there on time, was seated within 5min and I left at 12:37pm as the timestamp shows on my receipt. If you have trouble with scheduling your customers that is not my problem. I don’t appreciate being accused of things that didn’t happen and that don’t even concern me. By your response you are clearly not a person or business I want to continue supporting. Very disappointing.Service: Acrylic nails
My favorite place on earth to spoil myself With a manicure and a pedicure. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2014 I still remember how excited I was when I went to my first appointment, and I haven’t stop going since then. From acrylic to gel x , gel manicures , mimosa pedicures and more Laque is and will be the only place I go to for my nails needs. The atmosphere is great, clean And they take the COVID situation with great importance. One of the reasons why I support this business is because Mariana & Robert have support the community in many ways And I’ve seen how much they have given without asking for anything back. Thank you to the Laque family for taking care of my nails and especially to Mindy my nail tech who I appreciate so much because she is simply the best. And thank you Marina for always making sure I’m happy with the service and accommodate me when needed. Love love my salon so much! Services: Gel manicures
Always 5 stars. Chill and the best mani/pedi's ever. They handle all kind of services. The customer service, the atmosphere, and kids are not allowed unless they are receiving services. This is a major plus in my book because I am able to relax my mind completely.
Love the atmosphere!!! It is very clean and organized. Just remember to bring cash to tip because I thought it could be included in my card payment but it's not. My pedicure and my daughter's manicure came out beautiful This will now be my permanent Nail shop
Super clean like extremely clean. Everyone is masked up and wearing gloves. All new equipment for each new client. No dipping powder but great service and awesome colors even if you don't want gel the decor is super cute. Will take your temperature upon arrival and make sure u fill out form BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
I went to get my nails for my birthday and it felt weird that they lasted me more than 1 month until I went to get them removed and my actual nail fell of with the gel x nail!!! It is soo awful
From 6 months ago First of all it's not worth the price & the service doesn't match the price. I came here 2 years ago and paid $75 that wasn't a mani/pedi I found somewhere else that charges about $55 better quality & better service. The only reason I came back here a second time was for a friend her wedding day is tomorrow. And the original appointment we had somewhere else had to cancel to do an family emergency. We called this location because they were open til 9. We asked to make an appointment for 4 girls @ 8 pm they said they don't take appointments and we could just walk in as long as it was before 8! We arrived at each arrived within 7:00-7:15 pm, the 4 th girl was running late she arrived at 7:20 pm but that was OK since there wasn't a lot of people working there at that hour we were willing to wait. The lady at the front counter was not that friendly, she wanted to know what we wanted to to do so she could get an idea we were honestly confused cause they had so much going on, in their pricing menu. She explained that she could only take two of us for the mean time and the 3rd girl would have to wait 30 min. The lady that was doing my nails was having a bad & long day which was understandable we ALL DO.But then she started to get mad when some one stole her bond age polish not exactly sure if that what it was called. She ran around trying to find saying "Where the heck is my Effin bonder!"...."I'm so effing pist!"...she did apologize about her behavior, but what i'm more upset about is that I got cut twice & the cleaning process was very painful I just toughed it out because i don't have time to go anywhere else. I told her maybe they took it by accident she said i'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that it is because every knows to ask for permission. ADVICE TO YOUR EMPLOYEES ASK FOR PERMISSION SO THERE IS NO DRAMA. I didn't want to speak the rest of the process because it was an uncomfortable situtation. I paid $30.00 ill post pics, not worth the service nor the price. I gave her a 3.00 tip just cause i felt bad my friends were saying not to tip her all. I did love that she gave us oppinions on what to do. What also upset us is that our 4th friend didn't even get the chance to do her nails because it was 9:00pm no one wanted to help us anymore. We also did not get to do a pedi cause the staff had went home at 7pm. They told us make an appointment next time. HOW IF YOU DIDN'T LET US? HOW IF YOU SAID YOU DON'T TAKE APPOINMENTS!? RUDE MUCH?!. I have no reason to return to this location. I didn't make a scene because I am not that type of person. One thing is for sure, I will not return here I've learned my lesson. It was a very traumatizing & uncomfortable experience. At least the brides nails were nice the one thing they did do right Hope it helps 2 stars because - they do nice nails but not nice people. I'm all about customer service and this was by far the worst. Don't let your situations effect the customers. I've been a Manager for 6 years and I can tell you that was not ok. Reviews is a big deal now a days keep that in mind. All your paying for is the environment
