In its early days, Laramie was a rip-roaring railroad town. Today, the University of Wyoming's Western pride shines forth in this small town surrounded by beautiful mountains. Laramie KOA is easily accessible from I-80, and it has more than 100 RV full-hookup/pull thru sites with 30/50-amp service (water restrictions in the winter - please call for details). The campground also offers cozy one- and two-room Cabins, Deluxe Tent sites and a grassy tent area - all with picnic tables and some with charcoal grills. Other amenities include a recreation center (open late spring - fall, weather permitting), an off-leash K9 area, a laundry room, and cable TV. Local attractions include the Wyoming Territorial Prison, Lincoln Monument, American Heritage Center, University of Wyoming, Historic Ivinson Mansion and the Ames Monument.
