In its early days, Laramie was a rip-roaring railroad town. Today, the University of Wyoming's Western pride shines forth in this small town surrounded by beautiful mountains. Laramie KOA is easily accessible from I-80, and it has more than 100 RV full-hookup/pull thru sites with 30/50-amp service (water restrictions in the winter - please call for details). The campground also offers cozy one- and two-room Cabins, Deluxe Tent sites and a grassy tent area - all with picnic tables and some with charcoal grills. Other amenities include a recreation center (open late spring - fall, weather permitting), an off-leash K9 area, a laundry room, and cable TV. Local attractions include the Wyoming Territorial Prison, Lincoln Monument, American Heritage Center, University of Wyoming, Historic Ivinson Mansion and the Ames Monument. Check out historic downtown Laramie for shopping and dining. This KOA is a great stop on your "journey." Max pull thru: 85 feet. .
