Laredo Community College is Laredo's oldest and largest institution of higher education, established on the banks of the Rio Grande on the site of the historic Fort McIntosh. Today, LCC is a two-campus district, with a second campus in South Laredo. Both campuses serve a three-county area comprised of Webb, Zapata and Jim Hogg counties.
