Huge gym, weight training upstairs, along with a track as well. Kids zone, computer room, library, the works.
We love this neighborhood library! We love to visit the cozy children’s section full of wonderful books and toys. Story Time is great for toddlers to pre-K. The staff is so kind and helpful. Its not nearly as busy or as big as Calton, which is just perfect for us. Highly recommend :
Staff does not keep an eye of the use of equipment, people are sitting on equipment using cell phone. No rules, young kids are in control.
Excellent study space. This library has a nice comfortable facility connected to the neighborhood Recreation Center. Good selection of adults and kids books, computers, Wi-Fi, and DVDs. Kids activities are organized on some days depending on the time of year. Librarians are helpful and friendly and the library stays pretty quiet until schools get out in the afternoon.
There is a good-sized Library, a large indoor basketball court, and a fantastic gym with updated machines. They frequently have clubs and events going on to keep things interesting. This was a great addition to our neighborhood!
To be honest the place is beutiful. I had very good experiences in the past. However, today, I had the worst. They did not let my little girl play in this indoor playground. I use my sons rec card because I can't pay for a 3 years old membership since there's not much they can offer for her, but they did not let her play. Maybe, I would have if I knew my daughter could play in the indoor playground at any time. However, they limit the time to 15 minutes and they have a schedule. Really??!! We pay from 4000 to 6000 dollars a year of taxes and this is what the city has to offer to our kids. Now, granted, we have parks but here in Laredo at what time can you go to a park? Until 8pm. So, the only indoor city playground at fasken my daughter can't use. :......
Great place for excercise!
Excellent recreation center for the young kids as well as senior adults many choices to stay active!. In a control and secure space!. Many employees to help you.
This place is very fancy!
This is a great place to take your kids. The librarian, Miss Tess is super friendly and is always willing to make accommodations to make children and families feel welcomed.
