It’s a very beautiful place for picnic or to walk with your family, friends or pets.. The sound of nature is everywhere, the color of trees in summer is beautiful and relaxing. You can see diversity of trees. The color of the lake is stunning.. we found some falcons and squirrels. People can go there for fishing.. It’s a nice place to spend time with your beloved ones. It’s free
Really accessible, clean washrooms, gender inclusive, beautiful trees and landscaping. Would spend all day here with a book or paint. Excellent place for families and people of all ages. Someone was practicing Tai Chi and that warmed my heart.
I adore Laurelhurst Park. It is like Portland's Central Park. I have been coming here since I was a kid. It's beautiful, inviting, and has something for everyone. Walking and bike trail. Picturesque pond. Playground, basketball, and tennis. They even have a skate board area and Horseshoes! This is awesome picnics and playdates and all the fun park stuff. Great for phototls too. If you've never been, definitely go. A favorite if not the favorite of Portland. Playground: Yes Restrooms: Yes, seasonal Dog-friendliness: Yes very but no official off leash area Picnic area: Several
I always enjoy coming here. Right now the Camellias are in bloom. There are so many different kinds of ducks in the pond. It's a great place to relax and go for a walk around the pond.
I went here for the water lantern festival and it was a lot of fun. They had several portipotties and vendors. They're a great pond and great scenery. Restrooms: Plenty of portipotties Dog-friendliness: People brought dogs. Picnic area: Plenty of areas
Although parking can be difficult, once you get into this park you will not want to leave. There are so many sub areas inside the park, shade and sun, running space and sitting spots, grass and water. Whether you want a picnic, a place to throw a frisbee, a chance to watch the ducks, or anything else one might do in a park, you can do it here. I love this park. It's even better on weekdays, with fewer people and easier parking.
Loved this neighborhood park! You can have a picnic, go on a walk, a run or just sit and contemplate.
Very nice but not secure for the toddler runners that venture out from the playground amenities. You must watch the children and not your phone which I don't mind. Open the large plastic swing chairs completely upward before placing children in or the latched shield/ harness swings down on their heads as you attempt to get them in.
I just moved to Oregon from Redding California and this park is so beautiful I really enjoyed my time there
By far my favorite park in portland! I feel like I'm going on a hike without having to travel far away. Always very calming and refreshing, even on the busiest of days.
