I want to thank the staffs for helping me to get better, I was able to go home yesterday, I want to say thank you to physical therapy and Occupational therapy, the nursing staff and to the supervisor of the kitchen, I enjoyed every meals, I would definitely recommend The Laurels of Hudsonville to anyone who need rehabilitation it's a great place stay, thank you to the housekeeping staffs and to the administration staff for being there for me. I have been so impressed with this facility throughout the pandemic. Despite all the Covid restrictions, they continued to provide quality care especially therapy & provided exceptional communicating with family even when family was unable to visit in person. They addressed any concerns in a timely manner which I really appreciated. Definitely would recommend for a rehab stay.
UPDATE: Almost 2 years after my mother's stay was over we had issues with a bill from consultants that provided service at the Laurels and were contracted by the Laurels. Finally Priority Health took over and resolved the charges .The Laurels did nothing to correct the 1400.00 charge they were billing my mother. Very disappointed in their lack of follow through for services they contracted. My mom had a 2 week stay here and also out- patient therapy. Everyone on the staff was excellent including all the patient care staff and the office staff.

Proactive and progressive excellence practiced for the guests !! The meals are delicious and nutritious too. Video visits are smooth and easy.
What a wonderful place to be for Rehabilitation. The staff are so helpful, Encouraging and Kind. They give great tips on how to achieve your goals. They never make it about them it's all about what will work for you. Outstanding Therapy, outstanding employees. Going home today will miss them. Nursings staff works very hard to help you with anything you might need. The entire group works very hard as a group to take care of you. Linda Allendale Michigan
Absolutely disgusting floor nurse. To say that a patient is the same as they were when in the hospital is not only 100% false but negligent. I am appalled there is no communication, and how rude the floor nurse is is horrific. I and our family would NEVER recommend this facility.
My mother in law has been there for almost 2 years, she has had great days with the staff. nurses come an go we understand that. She has had to call home several times for help or crying! She shouldn't be told she has to sit in soiled pants until someone can get to her. My husband sat on the phone as she cried. We live a hour away. Took the nurse 26 minutes to come an change her. You would think that would be a top priority! Another nurse could of helped. Or Anything. This isn't the first time issues have happened here with her! She had to have surgery it got infected so bad coming back to the home that she had to have another surgery an a drain tube placed. And bathing more often could of helped prevent the infection.Hope others are being treated better.
I had a partial amputation of my leg which had me doing therapy at the laurels for a couple of months in which i got to know the staff and therapists that are very friendly and always willing to help when needed. The staff and therapists dont get the credit that they deserve but i give them a big thumbs and a Thank You for what you do.
My mom has been a resident for 4 years + they Took very good care of her. She couldn't talk but that didn't stop them from talking to her. She had Alzheimer's and dementia. They treated her with respect and loved her. When she passed they called me right away.they go above all my hopes. Thank you for taking care of my mom.
I'm very satisfied with the therapy, nursing, and aids. They never gave up on me and they got me moving again. Thank you for that The food was good and they kept my room and bathroom clean. Everyone was polite and caring
