Request a Parcel: http://yourstudentsunion.ca/service/food-bank/
The Student Food Bank is a student service that serves the dietary and nutritional needs of Laurier students. The service makes food parcels on a 24/7 basis after anonymous requests are made online. All dietary restrictions are accommodated, and food hampers typically last up to a week or more. All Laurier students are eligible to use this service. Also, the Student Food Bank runs a weekly Farmers' Market which offers fresh produce and baked goods at affordable student prices at a convenient and consistent location on campus. The Student Food Bank is here to ensure all students are able to eat properly despite financial circumstances and other realities of student life, such as the stress of exams or chaotic schedules.
To make a request:
- Go to foodbank.yourstudentsunion.ca and click on "Request a Package" under the Waterloo Campus tab and then fill out the request form (all you need is student number and email)
- Student will receive an email within less than 24 hours with a locker number/location and lock code
- Students can request parcels up to 3 times a semester
