Cynthia Lyons is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law, and has been practicing law since 1992.
From 1992 to 1999 Cynthia practiced law first in Atlanta, GA, then in Crossville, TN. Beginning in 1999, Cynthia spent 15 years as an Assistant Public Defender in the 13th Judicial District (consisting of Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Overton, Pickett, Putnam and White counties). In this position, Cynthia defended clients on charges ranging from Public Intoxication to Murder, and everything in between.
In 2014, Cynthia opened the Law Office of Cynthia S. Lyons. Her practice focuses on Divorce & Family Law, Criminal Defense, Wills & Estates, General Civil litigation and Personal Injury.
Cynthia is an avid photographer, and she the current President of the Cookeville Camera Club.
