The Lawton Fire & Rescue is made up of 30 professional Volunteers. Our members make up the Lawton Firefighters Association Inc.
100% volunteer fire and rescue department made up of 27 individuals and complimented by a student firefighter program. The Departments administration is made up of several yearly elected officials including Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief and Secretary/Treasurer. 4 Captain positions are appointed by the Chief & AC Chief with department approval. 2 Lieutenant positions. The department members are assigned to a Captain team (Red, Blue, Orange & Green Teams). Students are also assigned to a team. Monthly meeting are head the third monday of each month at 7PM. Training sessions follow most meetings with special training sessions planned throughout the year. Monthly station duty inspections are completed by each captain team on a 4 month rotation. We utilize all the grant writing opportunities to secure monies for equipment and training. We also rely on donations to help off-set costs for training & equipment needed by the department district.
