Description

We believe in the value of amazing, melt in your mouth delicious cakes and desserts. The kind you can’t stop thinking about long after it’s gone. The kind you tell your neighbors about. The kind you buy your mom on her birthday or your friend expecting a baby. We believe cake heals, and brings joy, and creates emotions and feelings only a moist delicious chocolate cake can bring. We believe there is a reason cake and sweets are there for every special moment in your life, they make them richer and celebratory. We believe it is a true honor to be invited into your homes, and weddings, and celebrations. We believe in whole food: butter, flour, sugar, salt, chocolate, pure vanilla extract and a lot of love. We do not believe in preservatives, artificial flavorings, shortening, or freezers. That is what makes us different and sets us apart. That is why you and your loved ones will fall head over heels in love with our amazing desserts time and time again.

Stumbled upon a pretty amazing little café for breakfast while visiting historic downtown McKinney. Interestingly enough, this place has a tremendous bar collection and has a pretty cool bar set up as well. No one would know walking does restaurant so there’s a large bar in the back but this place looks very nice. The breakfast was amazing and we will definitely be back. We went on a Monday morning and the restaurant was fairly full.
The good: * The food selection is pretty good. The food is tasty and fresh. They have both full plates or smaller dishes. * Our server was very attentive. You can get Mimosas refill for $1. *They have full bar, and a very good selection of coffees as well. * This place is located right in the Downtown quarter, so it’s a good location if you are interested in looking around. The not so good: *The place is on the smaller side but with a modern and eclectic vibe. They asked us to vacate our table as soon as we paid, bc they had reservations they needed to seat I understand that but it’s a bit no no for me personally. *Parking may be an issue because of the prime location, but there is free street parking up to 3 hours.
Great breakfast restaurant at downtown McKinney . Their waffles are a must try!! Super friendly staffs. Check out their $1 refills on Mimosas: I wish they also had dessert menu.
Great breakfast options and coffee! The dolche iced coffee was perfect, not too sweet and strong. My favorite food option was the sweet potato hash! Super favorable.Food: 5/5
Atmosphere was calm, service was great… the food was good. The food came out within a reasonable time, and the menu was not overwhelming with too many options.Food: 5/5
Food was very good. Service was . Great Whiskey wall selection Food: 5/5
Great service! Coffee was amazing. I ordered the Shakhshuka which was really good. I would request that they take the word “Israeli” out of the description of the dish. The dish is originally from North Africa and the word Shakhshuka is Arabic, so not only is this description incorrect but also offensive to certain ethnic groups.Food: 4/5
went here on a Monday morning for breakfast. Bacon, sausage, toast were great. the avocado tacos were so good and very filling. service was really good and i’d definitely come back!Food: 5/5
This is my first time here and loved it. I had the chicken and waffles with a cappuccino. They were fantastic and would recommend. Be careful with the waffles as they have sugar crystals in them already and and if you add too much syrup it might get too sweet. Other than that we had great service and the atmosphere is great. I will be back. Need to come back on an evening when it turns into the speak easy.
Good friendly. Quick. If you are on sugar diet watch got items on menu. Ask Waffle comes with sugar in it.Recommended dishesShakshuka Skillet, Chicken & Waffles
