Took my family for brunch. It was very busy and we had about a 35 minute wait to sit inside however they took my number and we were able to walk around the square while waiting for our table. We were seated around the estimated time. I had the Migas, my son had Frito pie, and cousin had waffles. All enjoyed their meal. Service was friendly and fast.
Cute little restaurant. The service was sub-par, but I did do it on a very busy day. The food absolutely made up for it. Everything was delicious and priced just right. The chicken fried steak sandwich had fresh ingredients, and the cream gravy was very good. Parking: The parking lot is located across the street
Chicken fried chicken is the best. Mashed potato is too good. Chicken salad sandwich is good too but its lil sweet for my taste buds. Service is top notch.Food: 5/5
A cool cafe with comfort food. However their flavors were sadly nothing out of the world. Their meatloaf sandwich is just alright. While the "ham it up" was good, it was not filling and you have to get an appetizer or a large side to fill you up.Food: 3/5
Cozy place for some coffee and eats. They serve a full menu all day which is a huge plus!Food: 5/5
To call Spoons a sandwich place or brunch spot would do a disservice. Spoons is as McKinney is: authentically down-home, and yet sophisticated. Anything bread or chicken are bright spots here, with chicken and waffles, fried chicken sandwiches, and garlic bread all winners. Whether you are wanting a country breakfast, an upscale sandwich, or just traditional country cooking, they have it. Perfectly located right on the Square, it is a great spot if you can make it in without a wait.
We had shopped around the square and needed something cool to drink! Ice tea, of course. We had lunch at The Garage earlier. That's the sister cafe.Food: 5/5
My family and I went there for brunch on a Sunday we absolutely loved the atmosphere, food and the new fall coffee drinks.Food: 5/5
Wonderful Service, waitress was a sweetheart. Chicken fried steak was tasty and delicious and the sweet tea was just delightful. The atmosphere was roomy and cozy like home. Nice walk around outside when you're finished. Don't forget to take home a piece of the pie, literally.Food: 5/5
Nice spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I had the not so simple breakfast which means you pick everything you want. The omelette looked good too! I want to go back for dessert. Everything looked delicious. Service was wonderful.
