The Lazarus House is dedicated to developing men of Christian character and integrity.
The vision of Lazarus Ministries came in February 2003 while I, Daryl Long was in prison for manufacturing methamphetamine. I gave my life to Christ and He put a burning desire in my heart to serve Him by helping others be set free from the bondage of addiction through the power of Jesus Christ. The same power that set me free from a 22yr addiction raised Lazarus from the grave. Do you feel like a dead man walking? He set me free, He'll do the same for you. Choose life.

Our main purpose is to build people up by teaching the whole truth about our freedom and deliverance that comes through the blood of Jesus. We have found that there is more than just abstinence from drugs, Jesus wants us whole in every area of our lives.
We are a 6 month Christian based residential recovery house for men.Our Morning Bible studies and Wednesday Bible teachings are held at the 21st st. house . Our Main Office and Recovery center is located at 1102 W. 9th. We hold a saturday night meeting at 415 E. 7th in Galena, Kansas.
