We love our neighborhood market!! They always have great customer service. Very rarely do they run out of what we need. They are always finding ways to make checking out more efficient. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I also like that they offer flowers at the front door!
It is clean, has basic products and the on-site pharmacy is very helpful for those of us who need to buy medicine and have it close to home. The bad thing I have noticed is the lack of fresh vegetables, I have found some expired products that are available for purchase, But it was only on one occasion
Love the pharmacy at this little store. The staff is always polite and helpful. Shelves are always stocked and the produce is better than the other stores in the area.
I am giving this an unusual 5star rating due to Employee competence and compassion. As normal most stores in the area highly lack product and product variety. This one includes. And as usual, it got a 2 on its kiosk question. However, this time an employee took the time or of her day to ask why and what is it that we can improve, with genuine concern. It is not oftenvespecially in the Walmart chains you find an employee as observant, to notice a simple thing as a start rating at a self checkout. Much less take the time out of their day to see if they can help. This lady , Cora was simply impressive in all matters of her surroundings, dedication and the roll of her position. Very good! Even if it falls into the category of lacking products and choices, I highly recommend this store, and a kind thank you to Cora for being such a fantastic person. This is what makes our communities strong.
Neighborhood market on 25th and maiden lane is my favorite Walmart stare to go to. It's relatively new, I believe 4-5 is years old. They just started a renovation that took out all the personal cash registers and now only have self check outs. I personally enjoy speaking with the cashiers and the personal interaction with employees it use to feel like a small hometown store. I'm on a first name basis with Bryan and Luke in the pharmacy because this is where I get most of our scripts as well.. the original lay out of the store having shorter isles and the ability to maneuver with ease is now gone. They put shelves in the middle isle breaking the store up to 2 Main isles 1 in the front and 1 in the back.. they've moved EVERYTHING.. I had this store 100% memorized and was able to tell anyone where anything was by visual memory.. now, I can't even find my favorite cereal or salad dressing. I know this will change over time. However the personal feel will not. Without the ability to talk with the associates. I'm not sure how much a corporation will even care about my review tho.
Pick-up order was perfect, super nice service personnel, on point and all smiles.
I really like these type of Walmart. I wish the area I lived in had these larger sized neighborhood markets.
While the employees are great & friendly, always helping, the upper management is getting unbearable to deal with. Store manager Tom is not listening to the customers needs and does as he pleases, which is very disappointing for the customers. Another upper management is running her filthy mouth, making degrading comments and when asked to stop, she laughs and continues making degrading comments about my husband which deeply hurt my feelings. I am now thinking of going for shopping at Aldi's next door, I've had it with the upper management at Walmart. Done!
Good location - had everything in stocks I needed
Clean grocery store with plenty of handicapped parking & electric carts. Smiling friendly employees. Meat costs are ridiculous. Busy but not crazy right now.
