Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport

My main complaint here is the condition of our room. I can't speak to other rooms but ours needed some attention for sure. Room service didn't show up as we requested. The hotel restaurant for breakfast and the staff there were great. Rooms are modern looking but need to be inspected to make sure things are in good order. Faucet was like an old cranky pipe that was hard to turn. Towel hook fell off the wall. Handheld shower head coming off the wall and the desk edge banding on the countertop peeling off badly. Other then that it's an average hotel

I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member and generally love the hotels in this chain. However, I was very disappointed in my stay at Le Meridian for several reasons. I could have overlooked any one of the following issues but when compounded, it felt like there was a serious miss in oversight. 1 - I ordered a simple turkey sandwich at the almost empty lobby bar for a quick meal before a meeting. I waited 45 minutes for it with no explanation. 2- Despite turning my a/c to 65 degrees, my room never got cooler than 72. I sleep hot and was miserable all night. 3 - My in-room coffee station was not serviced so there were no cups and only espresso pods. No coffee pods. When I informed the front desk and I asked for a coffee from the bar as I was leaving, I was told the coffee in the lobby was not complimentary and I would have to pay. That would normally be okay but I had just explained the issue with my in-room coffee. 4- It was very obvious that the room had not been thoroughly dusted. The only reason I gave this hotel 2 stars was to give credit to the shuttle driver who was friendly, professional, and efficient.

Hotel staff was very nice and friendly although we did have a housekeeping guy try to walk in our room without knocking right when we checked in, glad we had the deadbolt on! The hotel is absolutely dated, rooms look updated but hotel in general, you can just tell its really hold... the breakfast buffet was absolutely awful, tiny selection, cold watery eggs but our server was super nice. Maybe we are just spoiled as we are used to Autograph Marriott hotels but this one was just musty/dated it seemed. Also parking my car in the parking lot was weird, there were hardly any cars in the parking lot and signs all over saying the hotel was not responsible for vehicles broken into. I asked the front desk if my car was safe and he said there have been no recent break ins. I drive a new Tesla so i was a bit nervous to say the least but nothing happened. Mixed feelings about this place for sure. Safety: Signs all over parking lot that tell you hotel is not responsible if your vehicle is vandalized. Didn't feel very secure leaving my car there.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. It is a 5 min drive from FLL airport and is a full service hotel with nice restaurant, bar and lovely heated outdoor pool with zero entry which is good for kids. Housekeeping does a good job cleaning the rooms which doesn't always happen these days in hotels! We arrived late at night and the bar was closed and the staff were just about to leave but when I asked for a glass of wine they didn't hesitate to open up the bar again for me. All of the staff are extremely friendly and personable and go out of their way to give you a good experience. We had a child with complicated food allergies in our group and the staff took extreme care in dealing with that which we greatly appreciated.

Needed an overnight hotel for an early flight the next morning and this hotel was perfect. Close to the Ft Lauderdale airport and very classy. Great service from front desk to restaurant to room service delivery. Food was delicious too. Beautiful lobby. Didn't try the pool or workout facilities but they were there and made known to me by the staff. A nice touch was the electronic board near the elevator with flight updates.

My room was beautiful but found a roach that I had to chase and kill in the bathroom at 1:00am. Other than that place was fine. Coffee is NOT complementary. Be ready for a $4,50 plus tip for a american water down coffee.

Worst front desk service I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve traveled weekly for work, and also stick with hotels when on vacation. In order to extend, I had to come back down and do re check in “security reason, make sure is still you”, yeah ok, come down, no one at property pretty much, slow weekend, “oh sorry, in order to keep you in same room, and recheck you in, we have to wait for supervisor to come in”, wait what? lol is that complicated?! So you want me to repack and sit in lobby until your supervisor gets in this afternoon, in order to recheck me in? Make that make sense.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Le Meridien hotel. We needed a place close to the airport for a quick overnight stay before our morning flight. They have a free shuttle service, which can be hard to find near FLL. The hotel has two full service restaurants. We had dinner at the Constellation Cafe. The food was prepared well and tasted great. Our room was clean and comfortable. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Every We had contact with at the hotel was helpful and friendly.

I love this hotel my second time being here. And everything was good just like the 1st time. Clean rooms, excellent service, good food, and a great location. Toro the restaurant is always a good option if you are at the property. Liquor and food are of the highest quality. I will be returning.Rooms: 5/5

Very nice hotel, conveniently located. Staff at the front desk and those helping with the conference rooms were top notch. Housekeeping was a major disappointment. Food & drinks: Toro restaurant had amazing cocktails and the food was delicious. Expect to spend $75-$100 per person for meals, not including drinks.
