Dr. Duane “Lee” Griffith is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Dr Griffith earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Fellowship in Pain Management at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Griffith special interests include minimally invasive surgery, spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal pump delivery systems. In fact, Dr. Griffith teaches and trains other physicians on Spinal Cord Stimulation and Intrathecal Pumps in conjunction with the Medtronic Fellowship Program. He has also taught and presented throughout the United States including the Cleveland Clinic Pain Symposium and Proctor Physicians Nationwide: Vertos MILD Procedure. He is the father of three children and is active in snowboarding, motorcycle riding, wakeboarding and wakesurfing.
Dr Griffith is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, International Spine Intervention Society, Texas Pain Society, American Society of Anesthesiology, and Smith County Medical Society.
Dr. Griffith was selected by his peers as an outstanding practicing doctor in Texas. After an extensive nomination and research process conducted by Key Professional Media, Inc., the results were published in Super Doctors Rising Stars, a special advertising section in the Texas Monthly.
In Dr. Griffith's free time he enjoys wake surfing, wake boarding, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and three kids.
