I love this jewelry store. Not only is the selection of jewelry top notch, the staff are wonderful to work with no matter the reason you walk in. I've bought a simple silver chain, pieces to resize, and a very expensive ring and they are always gracious and professional. Jim is the ultimate craftsman and I am so impressed with his work. I brought in my Dad's wedding ring to be sized for me and Jim totally understood why I didn't want his life's wear and tear buffed out. That said it all for me.
The knowledgeable staff, including the manager Michelle, and the quality of jewelry in the store are the best around. If you are looking for an honest jeweler and fair prices than this is your store! I have purchased beautiful pieces over the years. They also do a fantastic job cleaning and resetting mountings.
I brought a ring to Lee's to do a repair. I waited 3 weeks before I called to see if my ring was ready. I got a call a week later from the owner saying he gave my ring to another jeweler who just got covid.. Than he said he brought my ring to another jeweler to check my emeralds and that jeweler said my emeralds were fakes.. I was totally shocked at what he said so, when the ring was finally ready I brought the ring to a gemologist who checked the stones and noticed two stones were cracked and the emeralds were indeed genuine.. I called Lee's immediately asking why was my ring checked by other jewelers and the two stones being cracked.. He was so nasty to me!! In my opinion when he brought my ring to the jeweler to check the emeralds they cracked the two stones.. He thought by telling me they were fake I would just leave it as it.. He had no right to take my ring to Any other jewelers.. He's supposedly does the repairs.. Emerald can easily break if you take them out of the settings.. Do not TRUST THEM
Super friendly and helpful staff. Most of the time they saw me right away because it wasn’t busy at all. I’ve probably been here at least five times within the past few years. My engagement ring is from here and he cleans it often, as well as the wedding band I had gotten from Costco. Jimmy was honest when he said he was surprised how great of a quality it was. All very kind people. They have my service. I need batteries in my watches soon.
I recently got married and went to Lee Richards Jimmy to connect my diamond wedding bands and engagement ring. I couldn’t of been happier with the results. Everyone in the store were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I live in the area and have made other purchases and had repairs done on my jewelry. I have always been happy with everything. Whenever I walk into this jewelry store I am always greeted with a friendly hello! I recommend this lovely place without hesitation.
Very Friendly & Awesome Staff! My Fiancé’s necklace broke and we decided to go here to repair it because of many positive reviews. They said originally 7-10 days to repair the necklace and it was ready in 4-5 days. Necklace was repaired perfectly. You wouldn’t of known it had been broken. Pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely recommend our friends & family or anyone looking for jewelry and jewelry repairs! If we could give more stars, we most definitely would!
Wouldn't go anywhere else in the point pleasant area. Took my watch here to get a new movement and crown. They were able to fix it in a timely manner. This was after two failed attempts at other jewelry shops in the area. Jim did a fantastic job, and is a great man. Everyone else was a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunate I didnt go here to begin with, but definitely solidified my business. Would highly recommend this business!!!
I've been a Lee Richard's customer for over twenty years. Every item I've purchased and every repair Jim has made over that twenty years has been flawless. I've referred a number of close friends to Jim and we all feel the same way about him. In addition to being a great jeweler, he's a genuine great guy.
Just got back from this jeweler and have to leave this review to warn others of the attitude you get if you complain to the jeweler about his work. I dropped off a chain to be repaired. The chain had a very antique color to it as did the cross that was on the this chain. When dropping it off the girls that took the jewelry in stated I should leave the cross so that Jimmy would know not to clean and polish it as the color will drastically change. So, I did that. When I came to pick up my items the chain was a completely different color than the cross. I questioned it and was told by this jeweler "Not sure why its a different color. I didn't do anything to it" with a real attitude to me! He said he doesn't know what to tell me. I told him I left it here and both pieces were the same color and now they are not!!! They still made me pay for the item even though I can't use the chain with the cross so it does me no good. I will NEVER come here again AND WILL STOP ANYONE I KNOW of going to that jeweler!
