My husband and I checked out Lela for the first time last night 4/7/2023. It was recommended by my friend and we decided to make it a little staycation and stay at the hotel too! Man did they treat us like royalty! The service was top notch! I commented on an Instagram post a couple days prior, and they recognize my name and called out their appreciation! It was so cool. The food was amazing as well! Going back for breakfast this morning!
came in for the first time for restaurant week with a few friends and had a great time! We ordered a round of drinks to start, they were tasty but very standard. For apps, we did the meatball, scallops, and ceviche. The meatball was massive and more than enough to share for 3 of us. The ceviche was a little more difficult to share & light on chips, but packed with flavor. The scallops came in an order of three and were the highlight of the course. For dinner, we had the short rib, snapper, and gnocchi. The short rib was a hearty portion of fall off the bone tender meat with potatoes. The snapper was good, but I didn't feel like it was cohesive as a dish & the cook was just okay. The gnocchi was such a different texture than I'm used to and it was phenomenal. It was almost cheese like and paired perfectly with the mushroom & tomato pesto.
Top notch service, excellent food, and great atmosphere. Attached to a hotel, it felt a bit like an executive lunch / dinner location instead of a romantic date spot, but it worked well for a nice dinner one evening.Food: 4/5
Stayed in this hotel and had dinner one night at Lela during my stay. The food was overall good. I had the lobster deviled eggs and the bucatini. I do think the prices are a bit high for the quality but service was good and fast. I had a really good burbon drink with blackberries.Food: 4/5
I think the atmosphere is pretty good and it is definitely a good place in the area for people to gather. Certain parts of the restaurant are darker and there may not be enough light even when it is daytime. The server recommended the meatballs, and I could see why. A picture of the meatballs was also on the website. They were made from pork, beef, veal, and tomato garlic confit, and the overall taste was a great combination of all of those. For both the snapper ceviche and the ahi tuna poke, there was not enough ceviche / poke but a lot of nachos on the side. The heirloom tomato & burrata was a good starter as well. Its taste could be off depending on the person's taste. To me, it was pretty good. In terms of the dessert, I recommend the chocolate molten cake a la mode. The crème brûlée was tasty as well. Overall it was a fancy place and one to go for special occasions. I would consider it a place that parties of 3 and above can go to when around the area!
Stayed at the hotel where the restaurant is located so we went down for breakfast and we’re definitely impressed by how quick and tasty the food was. The restaurant itself is beautiful and our waiter was attentive.Food: 4/5
What an awesome place! The food was absolutely delicious and the ambience of the restaurant was spot on. However, the star of the evening was Todd behind the bar! Not only did he remember my unique name after hearing it once, but his warm, friendly and witty conversation made the night absolutely memorable. Wish it was open Sundays and later into the evening. Will be back! Features: No masks required Very clean bar area
Stayed the night at the hotel and dined in for breakfast as well as ordered room service for dinner. The ambiance was stunning but it was clear that the staff was sparse. This was okay for the most part because there was barely any patrons to begin with. The breakfast was okay - rather dry for my liking. The portions and the taste did not match the excessive prices. The dinner I could not finish. The noodles tasted excessively oily and left me with a unpleasant feeling in my stomach.
Very affordable and delicious breakfast! We were seated quickly and our food came out in record time and a perfect 10/10. I had the eggs Benedict and my friend had the oatmeal, we both thought the oatmeal would be small but it was quite big. A healthy portion for the price. The coffee cups should be bigger but a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Had a girls dinner here recently and we were all pleased with our experience! For starters, the host was so kind with such a warm personality— loved him! We ordered a variety of salads and pastas steak tagliatelle, butternut squash and the bolognese all were great; sadly no food/drink pics as we all dig in quickly. Will note the the Caesar is made classically so it does come with anchovies the Lela salad was quite flavorful, too! A decent bar menu though some mixed cocktails were on the higher price point. Average price for a drink+app+main was $50/pre tip.
