It was great. They gave me a pieve of chocolate pie for my birthday. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars on atmosphere is because there was 2 employees out front talking and one was saying the f word multiple times and not quietly. I know for a truck stop, that can be expected but it bugged me.Food: 5/5
A. It's cash only B. The breakfast menu is available all day long C. The homefries are perfect D. Sometimes you can see a waitress battle of words E. Great ham steak F. Chatty crowd G. A good monthly stop when I'm really hungry
This is the best diner in the Lawton Area. The atmosphere is classic: wood panels on the walls, regulars hanging out, scalding hot coffee pots ready-to-go. The staff is friendly and welcoming in a genuine way. The food was hot and delicious. The bacon is the star of the show: thick, crispy, and smoky. I also thoroughly enjoyed the biscuit with gravy. Everything is priced fairly, and there's even a military discount. I'll be back!
Gonna get your money's worth! We couldn't eat it all. Great diner.Food: 5/5
I have been going there since the summer of 1998. never had an issue. 2 weeks ago yesterday. I spent 78.58 got no refills. waitress was not good at her job. continually corrected us when ordering because it's cheaper to get this or that. told my wife that my kids couldn't get refills on their sodas because the machine was down. no option to buy another can. they can have water. I waited for mitch. he's on his way over and over. they closed. I had to leave. he finally called me. asked for address. swore he'd make it right. I sent my name number and address. he did not make anything right. I will not give that place another dime. not worth it to spent $70+ every time for them nor to respect a loyal customer.
Staff is always top notch in service and friendly! Their food is amazing!Recommended dishesSide of Bacon, Texas Toast, Grilled Pork Chops, Chicken Fried Steak with White Gravy, Toast, Bacon with 2 Eggs & Hash Browns, Full Breakfast, Short Stack
Been Trucking over 50 years and never heard of this place. Guys if you're looking for Great food at a Reasonable price, you have to stop here. They have Truck Parking next to Restaurant. Good ole Truck Stop Cafe. I had breakfast and couldn't eat it all, got a to go box. Exit 36 off 44 S. Make a right and it's on the left 1 block up. I'll be back.
Got breakfast, i didn't see any signs saying cash only, but the owner also owns the atm machine inside. My breakfast just went from a reasonable 12.00 for 2 to 17.00 because of the atm fee. BE PREPARED!
On one of our road trips we discovered this hole in the wall truck stop diner and the reviews were good so we said what the heck and stopped. Shannon was our waitress, on if the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She told us if you leave here hungry it’s your own fault and she didn’t lie. Best chicken fried steak and pork chops ever! The big country breakfast was amazing so much ham! and the best part, 3 of us ate for $30 and had leftovers enough for a entire extra person! I would totally make the almost 4 hour drive here just to come back and eat and we probably will lol. If I could give 10 stars I totally would, stop in, ask for Shannon but any of the waitresses will do ya good and be prepared to leave full and happy we certainly did.
Needed a place to eat after an Army Basic Training Graduation. We bombarded this place with 18 adults and 3 kids. Danaour waitress wrangled tables together and took our orders and food was out fast. Dana took care of us like we were at her house for Thanksgiving. Such a true sweetheart! Dana, we appreciate you and your hard work taking care of all of us. Great choice if you are in the neighborhood looking for a great meal. There is a reason they have been in business for 60 years! Again, Thank you!
